Tarpu (Persian : ترپو, also Romanized as Tarpū) [1] is a village in Eshkevar-e Sofla Rural District, Rahimabad District, Rudsar County, Gilan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 25, in 9 families. [2]

At the 2006 census, its population was 27,653, in 7,820 families. The District has one city: Rahimabad.
