Khvajeh Marjan (Persian : خواجه مرجان‎, also Romanized as Khvājeh Marjān; also known as Haji Mijan and Khadzhi Myurdzhan)^[1] is a village in Chelleh Khaneh Rural District, Sufian District, Shabestar County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 631, in 152 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is a pluricentric language primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Chelleh Khaneh Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Sufian District, Shabestar County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 7,921, in 2,056 families. The rural district has 11 villages.

Sufian District is a district (bakhsh) in Shabestar County, East Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 38,767, in 10,043 families. The District has one city: Sufian. The District has three rural districts (dehestan): Chelleh Khaneh Rural District, Mishu-e Jonubi Rural District, and Rudqat Rural District.
