Kidsgrove is a civil parish in the Borough of Newcastle-under-Lyme in the county of Staffordshire, England. It is the only civil parish with town status in the borough, as the neighbouring town Newcastle-under-Lyme is unparished.
The parish covers the town and its suburbs as well as the neighbouring villages and hamlets. These include: [2]
The parish lies within the historic Hundred of Totmonslow. The majority of the parish is surrounded by most of the city of Stoke-on-Trent and the towns of Alsager, Biddulph and Newcastle-under-Lyme. As well as the Six Towns of Stoke-on-Trent which include Tunstall, Burslem, Hanley, Stoke-upon-Trent, Fenton and Longton.
The parish mostly blends in with the urban areas of Stoke-on-Trent, Biddulph and Newcastle-under Lyme, although the town and villages of Harriseahead and Newchapel have maintained small patches of green belt.
