The LTU Aquatics (formerly Lithuanian Swimming Federation, Lithuanian : Lietuvos plaukimo federacija, LPF) is the national federation for Aquatics in body of swimming in Lithuania, as well as the other Aquatics sports: diving, artistic swimming and open water swimming. [1] It is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1924. During Soviet Union occupation federation was closed and re-founded at 1991. [2] It is both a member of LEN and FINA.
On 29 May 2023 Lithuanian Swimming Federation changed its official name to LTU Aquatics. [3] [4]
The Lithuanian Swimming Federation organizes the Lithuanian Swimming Championships, the Lithuanian Artistic Swimming Championships, the Lithuanian Diving Championships, and the Lithuanian Open Water Swimming Championships, national junior and youth championships.

World Aquatics, formerly known as FINA, is the international federation recognised by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) for administering international competitions in water sports. It is one of several international federations which administer a given sport or discipline for both the IOC and the international community. It is based in Lausanne, Switzerland.
LEN is the European governing body for aquatic sports affiliated to World Aquatics — it is the Continental Association for Europe. It was formally organized in 1927 in Bologna, and since 2015 is headquartered in Nyon.
The Japan Swimming Federation, is the national federation for Aquatics in Japan. It oversees Japan's Swimming, Diving, Water Polo and Synchronized Swimming competitive programs. Deividas Margevičius is a Lithuanian butterfly swimmer. In 2016 he won the national 100 m, setting a new national record at 53.53. With the best national season time (53.12) he was selected to represent Lithuania in 2016 Summer Olympics in the 4 × 100 m medley relay.
Giedrius Andriunaitis is a Lithuanian swimmer who specialized in sprint freestyle events. He is a multiple Lithuanian champion, who represented his country at 2009 European Junior Swimming Championships, in Prague. Andriunaitis also participated at LEN European Championships in 2010, and 2011 Summer Universiade, and other international competitions over the world. Andriunaitis was a member of the swimming team for SMU Mustangs at the Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. Andriunaitis was a significant contributor to the mustangs in winning Conference USA titles.

The 2022 Lithuanian Swimming Championships was held from 19 to 22 April 2022 in Klaipėda, Lithuania at the Klaipėda Swimming Pool. Events were competed in a long course swimming pool. The meet was open to international competition.
The Lithuanian Swimming Championships is the national swimming championships for Lithuania. They are organised by LTU Aquatics and separate championships are held annually in both long course (50m) and short course (25m) pools. The two meets are the country's top domestic meet for their respective course.
The 2023 Baltic States Swimming Championships was held in Riga, Latvia, between March 3 and March 4.
