Lacey Morgan Hull (born August 21, 1986) is an American politician serving as a member of the Texas House of Representatives from the 138th district. Hull was first elected in November 2020 and assumed office in January 2021. [1] She is a member of the Republican Party.
Despite Hull’s entrance into the House being controversial after numerous accusations that she was involved in two romantic relationships with a fellow representative and a political consultant, she has been noted to have rebound as having a relatively effective bi-partisan tenure, even securing the Vice Chairmanship of the GOP Caucus. [2]
Hull was born in Houston. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in political science and history from the University of Houston. She served on her neighborhood homeowner association (HOA) and was a precinct chair for the Harris County Republican Party before being elected. [3]
Stevan Edward Pearce is an American businessman and politician who served as the U.S. representative for New Mexico's 2nd congressional district from 2003 to 2009 and from 2011 to 2019. He is a member of the Republican Party and was his party's unsuccessful nominee in the 2018 New Mexico gubernatorial election. On December 8, 2018, Pearce was elected Chair of the New Mexico Republican Party, replacing Ryan Cangiolosi. He was re-elected in December 2020.
Kenneth Michael Conaway is an American politician who was the U.S. representative for Texas's 11th congressional district from 2005 to 2021. He is a member of the Republican Party. The district Conaway represented is located in West Texas and includes Midland, Odessa, San Angelo, Brownwood, and Granbury. Conaway led the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 United States elections after the Intelligence Committee chair, Devin Nunes, recused himself. Aside from serving as the chair of the House Ethics Committee, he served as the chair of the House Agriculture Committee, and later its ranking member. Conaway indicated in July 2019 that he would not be seeking reelection. Conaway was succeeded by fellow Republican August Pfluger.

The primaries were held on March 6 and the run-offs were held on May 22.
