Laurens Historic District is a national historic district located at Laurens, Laurens County, South Carolina. It encompasses 77 contributing buildings and 1 contributing structure in Laurens. The district includes residential, commercial, religious, and governmental buildings built between 1880 and 1940. Notable buildings include the Laurens County Courthouse, Old Methodist Church, St. Paul First Baptist Church, Public Square commercial buildings, Rosenblum's and Maxwell Bros. and Kinard Store, Provident Finance Co. and Parker Furniture, McDonald House, Augustus Huff House, Gov. William Dunlap Simpson House, and Hudgens-Harney House. [2] [3] [4]
It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) in 1980 and extended in 1986. [1]
It includes the Laurens County Courthouse, the James Dunklin House, William Dunlap Simpson House, and other properties that are separately NRHP-listed.

Edgefield Historic District is a national historic district located at Edgefield, Edgefield County, South Carolina. The district encompasses 33 contributing buildings, 6 contributing sites, and 1 contributing object in the town of Edgefield. The buildings center on the landscaped village green, and includes forty 19th century buildings, three of which are house museums. There are a number of 19th century Greek Revival style homes, while others are noted for beautiful Federal style fanlights and unusual doorways. Other district properties include Victorian influenced homes and downtown commercial buildings. Five churches represent the Georgian, Victorian Gothic, and modified Gothic architectural styles. Notable buildings include the Edgefield County Courthouse, Trinity Episcopal Church and Rectory, St. Mary's Catholic Church, Halcyon Grove, Oakley Park, Carroll Hill, Blocker House, Yarborough House, and Padgett House.
The Plymouth Historic District encompasses a cluster of five civic buildings and the town common of Plymouth, New Hampshire. The buildings are arrayed on the west side of Plymouth's town common, laid out not long after the town's settlement in 1763. The 2-acre (0.81 ha) district includes the town hall/court house, the Pemigewasset National Bank building, and the US Post Office building, as well as the Old Grafton County Courthouse. The Plymouth Congregation Church also falls within the district bounds, but is not considered contributing. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.
William Dunlap Simpson House is a historic home located at Laurens, Laurens County, South Carolina, USA. It was built about 1839 for a planter to use as his town house. The three-story, three bay, Greek Revival style clapboard dwelling has a total of twelve rooms.
The Valdosta Commercial Historic District in Valdosta, Georgia is a historic district that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983 and expanded in 2002. It includes 81 contributing resources and 23 non-contributing resources. The original listing included all or part of nine city blocks in a roughly square 25 acres (10 ha) area.
