The Legislative Assembly of Umbria (Assemblea Legislativa dell'Umbria) is the parliament of Umbria.
It was first elected in 1970, when the ordinary regions were instituted, on the basis of the Constitution of Italy of 1948.
The Regional Council was originally composed of 30 regional councillors. Following the decree-law n. 138 of 13 August 2011, the number of regional councillors was reduced to 20, with an additional seat reserved for the President of the Region.

The regions of Italy are the first-level administrative divisions of the Italian Republic, constituting its second NUTS administrative level. There are twenty regions, five of which are autonomous regions with special status. Under the Constitution of Italy, each region is an autonomous entity with defined powers. With the exception of the Aosta Valley and Friuli-Venezia Giulia (2018–2020), each region is divided into a number of provinces.
Lega Umbria, whose complete name is Lega Umbria per Salvini Premier, is a regionalist political party active in Umbria. The party was a "national" section of Lega Nord (LN) from 1991 to 2000 and has been the regional section of Lega per Salvini Premier (LSP) in Umbria since 2020.
The politics of Emilia-Romagna, a region of Italy, takes place in a framework of a presidential representative democracy, whereby the President of Regional Government is the head of government, and of a pluriform multi-party system. Executive power is exercised by the Regional Government. Legislative power is vested in both the government and the Legislative Assembly.

The flag of Umbria is one of the official symbols of the region of Umbria, Italy. The current flag was officially adopted on 18 March 2004, although the emblem and gonfalon had been in use since the 1970s. The Regional Law of 18 May 2004 officially confirmed the flag and added the words Regione Umbria in red, centered in the bottom fifth of the flag, but in common usage, the words are omitted.

The Legislative Assembly of Marche is the legislative assembly of Marche. Founded as "Regional Council of Marche", it changed its name into "Legislative Assembly" in 2004.
The Regional Council of Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol is the legislative assembly of the autonomous region of Trentino-Alto Adige.
The 2019 Umbrian regional election took place on 27 October 2019. The election was for all 20 members of the Legislative Assembly of Umbria, as well as for the President of the Region, who is also a member of the Assembly.
