Leo Leandros (Greek : Λεό Λέανδρος; born Leandros Papathanasiou; 23 August 1923) is a Greek musician, composer, singer, songwriter, lyricist and record producer.
Born on 23 August 1923 in Astakos, Leandros left in the 1950s for Germany to pursue a career in singing and composing. He had some success, but shifted his focus to his daughter, Vicky, who had been singing from a very early age. He became her manager, composer and producer when she was 13 and took charge of her training and career. Under his pseudonym Mario Panas (Greek: Μάριο Πάνας) he was the co-composer (together with Klaus Munro) of "Après toi", the winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 1972, which Vicky performed for Luxembourg.

Leandros has composed and produced for many other artists such as Julio Iglesias, Demis Roussos, Nana Mouskouri, Ulli Martin, Freddy Quinn and Jairo, among others. In 1983, he retired but returned exclusively to the studio in the early 1990s for three albums with Vicky Leandros. His albums have sold over 120 million worldwide. A low-profile personality, Leandros avoids public appearances. In October 2005 though, he appeared on German/Austrian TV as a surprise guest for his daughter who was celebrating her 30-year stage Jubilee. He was also the first singer of the Hymn of Panathinaikos. [1]

Vasiliki Papathanasiou, known professionally as Vicky Leandros, is a Greek singer living in Germany. She is the daughter of singer, musician and composer Leandros Papathanasiou. In 1967, she achieved worldwide fame after gaining fourth place for the country of Luxembourg in the Eurovision Song Contest with the song "L'amour est bleu", which became a worldwide hit. She further established her career by winning the Eurovision Song Contest in 1972 with the song "Après Toi", again representing Luxembourg.
Kyriaki Papadopoulou, known by her stage name Marinella, is a Greek singer whose career has spanned several decades. She is well regarded due to her impressive vocal range. Since the beginning of her professional singing career in 1956, she has released 66 solo albums, and has also been featured on many albums by other musicians. From 1956 to 2024, Marinella remained active for 68 years, performing in concerts and weekly shows at nightclubs. On September 25, 2024, at the age of 86, she suffered a severe hemorrhagic stroke while performing at the Odeon of Herodes Atticus in Athens, collapsing on stage. Since then, she has been hospitalized, showing minimal interaction with her environment.

Vicky Moscholiou, was one of the greatest Greek performers with a significant repertoire and a huge contribution to the Greek culture and the history of lyrical (entechno) and urban folk (laiko) song. Manos Hatzidakis described her voice as "the cello of Greek music", while Mikis Theodorakis called her "a singer resembling an ancient Doric boulder". Yannis Tsarouchis had said that "Vicky Moscholiou is the Kotopouli of Greek song.” Lefteris Papadopoulos noted that "the Greek song owes its voice to her," and Giannis Markopoulos said, "Vicky Moscholiou is gifted with natural talent".
"Après toi" is a song recorded by Greek singer Vicky Leandros, with music composed by her father Leo Leandros under his pseudonym Mario Panas, and German composer Klaus Munro, with French lyrics by Yves Dessca. It represented Luxembourg in the Eurovision Song Contest 1972 held in Edinburgh, winning the contest.

Nostradamos was a Greek pop group founded in 1971 by Stelios Fotiadis, Ippokratis Exarchopoulos–also known as Charlie –and English female vocalist Chris King. Despoina Glezou joined the group in time to perform at the 1972 Thessaloniki Song Festival where they won the best new composer and performer prize with the song "Dos Mou to Heri Sou" which became a huge success in Greece during the junta years. Glezou was also a member of the other pioneering Greek pop group Poll. Nostradamos has been ranked as number 9 in a list of the top 10 most influential rock groups during the dictatorship in Greece. In 1974, during the dictatorship, the group won the first Greek Eurovision participation contest run by the state broadcaster ERT to represent Greece at Eurovision but was not allowed to participate due to a scandal.
Just the 2 of Us is a singing Greek talent show based on the original Britain concept Just the Two of Us. The show aired on Mega Channel on 2010 and 2014, on 2020 was aired on Open TV and since 2021 is airing on Alpha TV.

He has studies in musical instruments such as guitar, bouzouki, percussion and piano. Since 2015, he has been a performer of his own songs as well as a composer and lyricist of songs performed by artists such as Konstantinos Argyros and Natassa Theodoridou.
