Leptobrachium xanthops is a species of frogs in the family Megophryidae from southeastern Laos. It is known only from the Dak Cheung Plateau of Phou Ajol Mountain, Dak Cheung District, Sekong Province, Laos. It may also occur in adjacent areas of northwestern Quang Nam Province, Vietnam, as well as in Xe Sap National Protected Area, Laos, and Song Thanh Nature Reserve, Vietnam. [1]
Fokienia is a genus of conifer tree belonging to the cypress family. In its characteristics, Fokienia is intermediate between the genera of Chamaecyparis and Calocedrus. Genetically Fokienia is much closer to Chamaecyparis, and not all researchers recognize Fokienia as a separate genus. The genus comprises only one living species, Fokienia hodginsii or Fujian cypress, and one fossil species.

The specific name masatakasatoi honors professor Masataka Sato, Japanese entomologist who collected the holotype. Common name Masatakasato’s eyebrow toad has been proposed for this frog.
