Leptosiphon ambiguus (syn. Linanthus ambiguus), the serpentine linanthus,[ citation needed ] is a low annual plant with narrowly lanceolate leaves and a vivid lavender flower. [1] It grows generally in serpentine soils [2] and is an endemic threatened species of the Bay Area[ citation needed ] in California. [1]
