Lichenoconium is a genus of lichenicolous (lichen-dwelling) fungi belonging to the family Lichenoconiaceae. [1]
The genus was circumscribed by Franz Petrak and Hans Sydow in 1927, with Lichenoconium lichenicola assigned as the type species. [2]
