Lipinia septentrionalis is a species of skink. It is endemic to New Guinea and is found in both Western New Guinea (Indonesia) and in Papua New Guinea. [1] [2]
Lipinia is a genus of skinks, lizards in the family Scincidae. Species in the genus Lipinia are commonly called lipinias.
The green-blooded skink, sometimes (ambiguously) known as "green tree skink", is a scincid lizard species native to New Guinea. The species is poorly studied and the species' risk of extinction has not been evaluated by the World Conservation Union, and does not appear in any CITES appendix.
The shovel-billed kookaburra, also known as the shovel-billed kingfisher, is a large, approximately 33 cm (13 in) long, dark brown tree kingfisher with a heavy, short, and broad bill that is unique among the kingfishers.
