    Uppalapati Venkata Suryanarayana Prabhas Raju, known mononymously as Prabhas, is an Indian actor who predominantly works in Telugu cinema. He is one of the highest-paid actors in Indian cinema and has been featured in Forbes India's Celebrity 100 list since 2015. Referred to in the media as the "Rebel Star", he has appeared in over 20 films, and has received seven Filmfare Awards nominations, a Nandi Award, and a SIIMA Award.

    Rajinikanth is an Indian actor, film producer, screenwriter and also a playback singer who has appeared predominantly in Tamil cinema. He began his film career by playing antagonistic and supporting roles before graduating to a lead actor. After starring in numerous commercially successful films throughout the 1980s and 1990s, he has continued to hold a matinée idol status in the popular culture of Tamil Nadu. Writing for Slate, Grady Hendrix called him the "biggest movie star you've probably never heard of." Rajinikanth has also worked in other Indian film industries such as Hindi, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.

    1000 Crore Club is an unofficial designation by the Indian film trade and the media, related to Indian language films that have grossed ₹1000 crore or more either within India or worldwide. The 1000 crore club is preceded by the 100 crore club. Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (2017) became the first Indian film to gross over ₹1000 crore worldwide. It grossed ₹1,430 crore across all languages in India and grossed ₹1,810 crore worldwide. It stands as the Highest-grossing film in India domestically till date. It was followed by Dangal, which is the Highest-grossing Indian film, expanding the club to 1900 crore, before creating the 2,000 crore (US$240 million) club, and becoming the fifth Highest-grossing non-English language film of that time. In 2022, two films released in the span of a month, RRR and KGF: Chapter 2, grossed over ₹1,000 crore at the global box office. The club expanded with movies like Pathaan (2023), Jawan (2023) and Kalki 2898 AD (2024).

    Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire is a 2023 Indian Telugu-language epic action thriller film directed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Vijay Kiragandur under Hombale Films. The film stars Prabhas as the title character alongside an ensemble cast of Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Bobby Simha and Sriya Reddy. In the fictional dystopian city-state of Khansaar, where monarchy still exists, the film follows the friendship between Deva (Prabhas), the exiled prince of Khansaar, and Varadha, the current prince of Khansaar. When a coup d'état is planned by his father's ministers and his relatives, Varadha enlists Deva's help to become Khansaar's undisputed ruler.

    Jailer is a 2023 Indian Tamil-language action comedy film written and directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and produced by Kalanithi Maran under Sun Pictures. The film stars Rajinikanth in the lead role, alongside Vinayakan, Ramya Krishnan, Tamannaah Bhatia, Vasanth Ravi, Mirnaa Menon, Yogi Babu and Sunil in supporting roles. Mohanlal, Shiva Rajkumar and Jackie Shroff play guest appearances. It revolves around "Tiger" Muthuvel Pandian, a retired jailer, seeking to apprehend an eccentric idol smuggler Varman.

    <i>Jawan</i> (film) 2023 Indian Hindi action thriller film by Atlee

    Jawan ( transl. Soldier) is a 2023 Indian Hindi-language action thriller film co-written and directed by Atlee in his Hindi film debut. It is produced by Gauri Khan and Gaurav Verma under Red Chillies Entertainment. The film stars Shah Rukh Khan, alongside Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Deepika Padukone, Priyamani and Sanya Malhotra. In the film, a jailer of a woman's prison recruits inmates and commit outrageous crimes that shed light on corruption.

    Prabhas is an Indian actor who predominantly works in Telugu cinema. He made his acting debut with the 2002 Telugu action drama Eeswar and attained his breakthrough with the action romance Varsham (2004) for which he received his first nomination for the Filmfare Award for Best Actor – Telugu. In 2005, he appeared in S. S. Rajamouli's action drama Chatrapathi, in which he portrayed the role of a refugee, exploited by goons. It earned him his second nomination for the Filmfare Award for Best Actor – Telugu.
