1000 Crore Club is an unofficial designation by the Indian film trade and the media, related to Indian language films that have grossed ₹1000 crore or more either within India or worldwide. The 1000 crore club is preceded by the 100 crore club. Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (2017) became the first Indian film to gross over ₹1000 crore worldwide. It grossed ₹1,430 crore across all languages in India and grossed ₹1,810 crore worldwide. It stands as the Highest-grossing film in India domestically till date. It was followed by Dangal, which is the Highest-grossing Indian film, expanding the club to 1900 crore, before creating the 2,000 crore (US$240 million) club, and becoming the fifth Highest-grossing non-English language film of that time. KGF: Chapter 2 is a 2022 Indian Kannada-language period action film written and directed by Prashanth Neel, and produced by Vijay Kiragandur under his Hombale Films banner. It serves as the direct sequel to KGF: Chapter 1 (2018), as well as the second installment in the KGF franchise. The film stars an ensemble cast of Yash, Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, Srinidhi Shetty, Prakash Raj, Achyuth Kumar, Rao Ramesh, Vasishta N. Simha, Ayyappa P. Sharma, Archana Jois, Saran Shakti, Easwari Rao, John Kokken, T. S. Nagabharana and Malavika Avinash.

Vikrant Rona is a 2022 Indian Kannada-language action thriller film written and directed by Anup Bhandari, produced by Jack Manjunath and co-produced by Alankar Pandian. It stars Sudeepa in the title role with Milana Nagaraj, Nirup Bhandari, Neetha Ashok, and Jacqueline Fernandez. The story revolves around Inspector Vikrant Rona, who arrives at a remote village in the middle of a tropical rainforest where he starts witnessing a series of unexplainable events which are attributed to the supernatural.

<i>Kantara</i> (film) 2022 Indian action thriller film

Kantara is a 2022 Indian Kannada-language action thriller film written and directed by Rishab Shetty, and produced by Vijay Kiragandur, under Hombale Films. The film stars Rishab Shetty in a dual role as a Kambala champion who is at loggerheads with an upright forest officer named Murali.

The 11th South Indian International Movie Awards is an awards event that took place at the Dubai World Trade Centre in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, on 15–16 September 2023. The ceremony recognized and honored the best films and performances from Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada films and music released in 2022, along with special honours for lifetime contributions and a few special awards.
