Alcarràs is a 2022 Spanish-Italian drama film directed by Carla Simón. It is set and shot in Alcarràs, Catalonia, featuring a non-professional cast of Catalan-speaking actors. The plot is a family drama about the disappearance of traditional peach-harvesting activities. It won the Golden Bear at the 72nd Berlinale, becoming the first Catalan-language film to do so. The film was selected as the Spanish entry for the Best International Feature Film at the 95th Academy Awards, but did not make the shortlist.

It is based on the 2017 short film Un poco de fiebre by the same director. The film had an initial release as part of the 29th Valdivia International Film Festival, Chile on October 11, 2022.

Robe of Gems is a 2022 internationally co-produced drama film written and directed by Natalia López Gallardo in her directorial debut. Starring Nailea Norvind, Juan Daniel García Treviño, Sherlyn Zavala and Balam Toledo. It competed for the Golden Bear and won the Silver Bear at the 72nd Berlin International Film Festival.

<i>Through Rocks and Clouds</i> 2024 Peruvian film

Through Rocks and Clouds is a 2024 Peruvian-Chilean drama film directed by Franco García Becerra and written by Annemarie Gunkel and Alicia Quispe. It stars Quechua-speaker Alberth Merma accompanied by Nely Huayta and Richard Taipe. It is about a shepherd boy who dreams of seeing his country in the 2018 FIFA World Cup while his environment is threatened by pollution from a mining company.
