Olga Zubarry was an Argentine actress who appeared in film between 1943 and 1997. She made over 60 appearances in film, spanning six decades of Argentine cinema, but is best known for her work during the Golden Age of Argentine Cinema. Throughout the course of her career, she received four Silver Condor Awards, two Martín Fierro Awards, a Konex Foundation Award and several others for her films and television performances. She is credited with starring in the first film in Argentina which featured nudity, though only her back was shown and she stated repeatedly that she wore a flesh-colored mesh and was not truly nude.

Ernesto Federico Alterio Bacaicoa is an Argentine-Spanish film, theatre, and television actor. He is most known for his role in the Fernando Colomo films The Stolen Years and Havana Quartet, as well as for his role in the Argentine miniseries Vientos del agua. He is the son of Argentine actor Hector Alterio.

Nélida Dodó López Valverde known professionally as Nelly Beltrán was an Argentine actress. She appeared on the radio from the age of 10 and in 85 theatrical performances, 48 films and 3 dozen television shows between 1953 and 1996. She won a Martín Fierro Award as Best Comic Actress for her television work on La hermana San Sulpicio; participated in the film Pajarito Gómez which won the Best Youth Film award at the 15th Berlin International Film Festival; won a Konex Foundation Award; and was honored by the Argentina Actors Association in 2004 for her career contributions.

Ernesto Aníbal Gauna Fonseca, known professionally as Pocho La Pantera (Spanish: Pocho the Panther), was an Argentine master of ceremonies, actor, singer of Argentine cumbia, and author of successes such as El hijo de Cuca (1990), Me dicen la pantera (1991) and El paso de la fiesta (2016).

Argentina, 1985 is a 2022 Argentine historical legal drama film produced and directed by Santiago Mitre. Written by Mitre and Mariano Llinás, it stars Ricardo Darín, Peter Lanzani, Alejandra Flechner and Norman Briski. The film follows the Trial of the Juntas, the 1985 trial of members of the military government that ruled Argentina under the dictatorship of the National Reorganization Process, during which the torture, extrajudicial murder, and forced disappearances of civilians was a systematic occurrence; it focuses on the perspective of the prosecution team, led by Julio César Strassera and Luis Moreno Ocampo, including their investigation before the trial.

<i>Noise</i> (2022 film) 2022 Mexican film

Noise is a 2022 Mexican-Argentine drama film directed by Natalia Beristáin and written by Beristáin, Diego Enrique Osorno & Alo Valenzuela Escobedo. Starring Julieta Egurrola. It won the Spanish Cooperation Award at the San Sebastián International Film Festival.

Casi muerta is a 2023 Argentine-Uruguayan romantic comedy film directed and written by Fernán Mirás. Starring Natalia Oreiro, it is a remake of the 2012 Basque-language Spanish film, Bypass.
