Stoessel rose to prominence and emerged as a teen idol for her leading role in the Disney Channel Latin America telenovela Violetta (2012–2015), and reprised the character in the series' sequel film Tini: The Movie (2016). <i>Wild Tales</i> (film) 2014 black comedy anthology film

Wild Tales is a 2014 Spanish-language black comedy anthology film that was written and directed by the Argentine filmmaker Damián Szifron. The film, which is a Spanish-Argentinian co-production, is composed of six standalone shorts with a common theme of catharsis, violence and vengeance. The film has an ensemble cast consisting of Ricardo Darín, Oscar Martínez, Leonardo Sbaraglia, Érica Rivas, Rita Cortese, Julieta Zylberberg, and Darío Grandinetti. Because of Szifron's desire to work with Darín and Martínez, these actors were allowed to choose the role they wanted.

<i>The Distinguished Citizen</i> 2016 film

The Distinguished Citizen is a 2016 Argentine-Spanish comedy-drama film directed by Gastón Duprat & Mariano Cohn. It was selected to compete for the Golden Lion at the 73rd Venice International Film Festival. At Venice Oscar Martínez won the Volpi Cup for Best Actor. It was selected as the Argentine entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 89th Academy Awards but it was not nominated. It won Best Ibero-American Film at the 4th Platino Awards.
