Football Club de Nantes, commonly referred to as FC Nantes, is a French professional football club based in Nantes in Pays de la Loire. The club was founded on 21 April 1943, during World War II, as a result of local clubs based in the city coming together to form one large club. From 1992 to 2007, the club was referred to as FC Nantes Atlantique before reverting to its current name at the start of the 2007–08 season. Nantes play in Ligue 1, the first division of Football in France. Nantes is one of the most successful clubs in French football, having won eight Ligue 1 titles, four Coupe de France wins and attained one Coupe de la Ligue victory.
Vladimir Cosma is a Romanian composer, conductor and violinist, who has made his career in France and the United States.

Arnold Antonin is a Haitian film director. A man of diverse careers, Arnold Antonin is known both inside and outside Haiti for his social, political and cultural commitment. He was honored for lifetime achievement with the Djibril Diop Mambety award at the International Film Cannes Festival in 2002. He received the Paul Robeson African Diaspora best film award at FESPACO in Ouagadougou in 2007, 2009, and 2011. He also received numerous awards and accolades at festivals for his documentaries and fiction movies. He was president of the Haitian Filmmakers Association (AHC) from 2005 to 2009.
Jean-Jacques Birgé is an independent French musician and filmmaker, at once music composer, film director, multimedia author, sound designer, founder of record label GRRR. Specialist of the relations between sound and pictures, he has been an early synthesizer user and with Un Drame Musical Instantané, an initiator of the return of silent movies with live orchestra in 1976. His records show the use of samplers since 1980 and computers since 1985.
Le President a-t-il Le Sida is a 2006 Haitian movie directed by Haitian Filmmaker Arnold Antonin starring Jimmy Jean-Louis and Jessica Généus. It tells the story of Dao, a prominent musician who leads an unprotected sexual life with orgies and drug use. He changes his lifestyle when he meets Nina, a poor 23-year-old. Dao ends up in the hospital after a car accident. He later finds out that he has contracted AIDS. His mother takes him to a voodoo priest in hopes that the "evil spirits" will be removed. Nina marries him 6 months after finding out that he has AIDS.
