This is a list of islands of Haiti. Most of The Republic of Haiti is situated on the western portion of Hispaniola, an island which it shares with the Dominican Republic. There are approximately 59 islands in Haiti making it one of the sovereign countries with the most islands in the Caribbean. The islands are either in the Atlantic Ocean, Gulf of Gonave or Caribbean Sea (see map link). La Navase is disputed between Haiti and the US. Caye Sable is the most densely populated island in the world with up to 250 people sharing an area of just 0.16 ha (0.40 acres)

Navassa Island is a small uninhabited island in the Caribbean Sea. Located northeast of Jamaica, south of Cuba, and 40 nautical miles west of Jérémie on the Tiburon Peninsula of Haiti, it is subject to an ongoing territorial dispute between Haiti and the United States, which administers the island through the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.

Artibonite is one of the ten departments of Haiti located in central Haiti. With an area of 4,887 km2 it is Haiti's largest department. As of 2015, its estimated population was 1,727,524. The region is the country's main rice-growing area. The main cities are Gonaïves and Saint-Marc. In February 2004 an insurgency tried unsuccessfully to declare Artibonite's independence.

The Cayemites are a pair of islands located in the Gulf of Gonâve off the coast of southwest Haiti. The two islands, known individually as Grande Cayemite and Petite Cayemite, are a combined 45 square kilometres (17 sq mi) in area. Petite Cayemite lies just west of the larger island, Grande Cayemite. The islands are approximately 35 kilometres (22 mi) east of the city of Jérémie and are in the administrative department of Grand'Anse.

The grey-crowned palm-tanager or grey-crowned tanager is a Near Threatened species of bird in the family Phaenicophilidae, the Hispaniolan palm-tanagers. It is endemic to the Caribbean island of Hispaniola, in both the Dominican Republic and Haiti.

Plain of the Cul-de-Sac is a fertile lowland on the island of Hispaniola. It extends from southeastern Haiti into the southwestern Dominican Republic, where it is known as the Hoya de Enriquillo.

Typhlops hectus is a species of snake in the family Typhlopidae. It is endemic to southwestern Haiti and is known from the Tiburon Peninsula and the island of Grand Cayemite, with an isolated record from Gonâve Island. Specimens of uncertain status are known further northeast, in an area extending into the Dominican Republic; whether these belong to Typhlops hectus or an undescribed species is pending further investigations.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Caye Sable</span> Densely populated island of Haiti

Caye Sable is a cay of Haiti located in the Anse-à-Galets commune, about 50 kilometres (31 mi) west of Port-au-Prince. It is known for being the most densely populated island in the world, with around 250–300 people sharing an area of 0.16 hectares among about 75 houses, making for a population density of 156,250 people/km2. It is accessible by small boats from the village of Petite Anse, in the extreme south of Gonâve Island. There is no source of fresh water on the island.
