The film marked turning point in career of the lead actor Pradeep Khadka and Pooja Sharma and made them huge stars. The movie earned much of the investment on its first week of release.

Dipendra K. Khanal is Nepali screenwriter and film director, known best for his direction in Pashupati Prasad and Chapali height 2. Khanal's debut direction was The Yug Dekhi Yug Samma. He has directed films like Jholay, Vigilante, etc.

<i>Chhakka Panja</i> 2016 Nepalese film

Chhakka Panja is a 2016 Nepalese comedy-drama film directed and produced by Deepa Shree Niraula in her directorial debut. The film features an ensemble cast of Priyanka Karki, Deepak Raj Giri, Jeetu Nepal, Kedar Ghimire, Buddhi Tamang, Shivahari Poudel, Barsha Raut and Namrata Sapkota. The film is first part of Chakka Panja series and tells the story of Raja (Giri), a rich but illiterate man and his group of friends, Ateet (Poudel), Saraswati (Nepal), Magne (Ghimire) and Buddhi (Tamang). Raja, who is devoted to the chase, gives in to family pressure and gets married, but different events unfolds in his and his friends' life that gives rise to a comedy of errors and situations. The film received highly positive reviews for its screenplay and story, performances, humour and its social setting and message. The film was an "All Time Blockbuster" at the box office, breaking several records and becoming the highest grossing Nepali film of all time, until it was overtaken by its 3rd part. However, due to piracy problems, the movie was released on YouTube. Due to the piracy, the international screening of the movie was highly affected. The film has three sequels :- Chhakka Panja 2, Chhakka Panja 3, and Chhakka Panja 4, all of which were commercial blockbusters and is the highest grossing Nepali movie franchise.

Bijuli Machine is a 2016 Nepali film directed by Navin Awal and produced by Rishav Acharya, Santosh Lamichhane, Bindu Timilsina, Sanjeev Neupane, and Navin Awal. The film revolves around two teenage friends who set out to solve Nepal's chronic “load-shedding” problem with the innovation of a unique ‘Bijuli Machine’. Santosh Lamichhane is also the Science Advisor for the film. The film released on Mangsir 17, 2073 B.S. i..e December 2, 2016.

It is the second film in the Chhakka Panja series. Chhakka Panja 4 is a 2023 Nepalese comedy film written by Deepak Raj Giri and directed by Hem Raj BC. It is the fourth and the latest film in Chakka Panja franchise. Produced by Dipendra Khaniya, Kesav Neupane, Kedar Ghimire, and Nirmal Sharma under the banner of Aama Saraswoti Movies & IME Present, film was released on March 3, 2023, alongside another Nepali film 2.0 Chhadke. The film had biggest opening of 2023 for any film in Nepal and went on to become 2nd Highest Grossing Nepali film in Nepal and 3rd Overall in Nepal. It stars Deepak Raj Giri, Benisha Hamal, Kedar Ghimire, Neer Shah, Nirmal Sharma, Buddhi Tamang, Deepa Shree Niraula, and Raj Acharya in lead role. The film was released nationwide in Nepal, as well as more than 500 screens in other countries.

Produced by Max Dipesh Khatri, Yagyashwor Poudel, and Rabindra Singh Baniya, it was released on March 22, 2024. The film stars Hari Bansha Acharya, Bipin Karki, Rabindra Singh Baniya, Rabindra Jha, and Barsha Raut. It is the sequel to the 2019 film, Jatrai Jatra. The film was released in forty countries.

Koshish Chhetri (Parajuli) is a singer, composer, and actor from Nepal. He was born in Hetauda, Nepal, on July 13, 1989. He started his singing career in 2012 AD. He is known for Daiba Ko Rish, Gorkhali, and Sani Nani Nepali songs.
