<i>Chhakka Panja</i> 2016 Nepalese film

Chhakka Panja is a 2016 Nepalese comedy-drama film directed and produced by Deepa Shree Niraula in her directorial debut. The film features an ensemble cast of Priyanka Karki, Deepak Raj Giri, Jeetu Nepal, Kedar Ghimire, Buddhi Tamang, Shivahari Poudel, Barsha Raut and Namrata Sapkota. The film is first part of Chakka Panja series and tells the story of Raja (Giri), a rich but illiterate man and his group of friends, Ateet (Poudel), Saraswati (Nepal), Magne (Ghimire) and Buddhi (Tamang). Raja, who is devoted to the chase, gives in to family pressure and gets married, but different events unfolds in his and his friends' life that gives rise to a comedy of errors and situations. The film received highly positive reviews for its screenplay and story, performances, humour and its social setting and message. The film was an "All Time Blockbuster" at the box office, breaking several records and becoming the highest grossing Nepali film of all time, until it was overtaken by its 3rd part. However, due to piracy problems, the movie was released on YouTube. Due to the piracy, the international screening of the movie was highly affected. The film has four sequels :- Chhakka Panja 2, Chhakka Panja 3, Chhakka Panja 4 and Chhakka Panja 5, all of which were commercial blockbusters and is the highest grossing Nepali movie franchise.

Hari Prasad Rimal sometimes known as, father of Nepali Radio drama was a Nepalese actor, singer and film director. He is known for being the first person to sing on Radio Nepal and he has acted on Nepal's first film Aama.

<i>Bulbul</i> (2019 film) 2019 Nepalese film

Bulbul is a 2019 Nepalese drama film written and directed by Binod Poudel. It stars Swastima Khadka, and Mukun Bhusal in the lead roles. The story line is about a woman who drives tempo for a living in Kathmandu. The film was released on 15 February 2019. It was selected as the Nepalese entry for the Best International Feature Film at the 92nd Academy Awards, but it was not nominated.

The movie is about three inter connections of three men who live in Kathmandu.

Jai Bhole is 2018 Nepalese drama romance film, directed by Ashok Sharma and written by Khagendra Lamichhane. The film is produced by Kiran Sharma, Kriti Sharma, and Ankit Sharma under the banner of AA Group of Companies. The film stars Saugat Malla, Khagendra Lamichhane, Swastima Khadka, Buddhi Tamang, and Salon Basnet in the lead roles.

Parastree is an Indo-Nepali film, directed by Suraj Pandey under the banner of D.S. Digital and Nendi Creation, produced by Sarmila Pandey, and co-produced by Pusparaj Neupane. The film was released on June 30, 2023. It features Shilpa Maskey, Koshish Chhetri, Gaurav Bista, Alisha Chhetri and other actors.

Suman Thapa, better known as Swoopna Suman is a Nepali singer, songwriter, and guitarist known for his work in Nepali music industry. He began his musical career in 2012 by posting home videos on YouTube, which caught the attention of Karma Records. Suman released his first official song, K Saro Ramri Bhako, through the record label in 2014. He later joined Arbitrary Productions in 2016, releasing several original songs such as Kunai Din, Kasari Bhanu, Ma Timro, and Kurera Baschu. Suman is currently working independently and performing live shows in various locations in Nepal and internationally. His unique blend of contemporary and traditional Nepali music has earned him a massive fanbase in Nepal and abroad. He started gaining popularity after the release of his song Je Chhau Timi with Samir Shrestha in 2023.

Dimag Kharab is a 2023 Nepali film directed by Nischal Basnet from a screenplay by Aakash Baral under the banner of Cinema Art Pvt.Ltd. It was produced by Raunak Bikram Kandel. Released on November 10, 2023, starring Khagendra Lamichhane, Dayahang Rai, Swastima Khadka, Arpan Thapa, and Bijay Baral. Prior to the release of the movie, the promotional song titled 'Jhamke Jhamaa Jham' with lead vocals Namrata Kafle and Sumit Khadka was released on October 02, 2023.

Agyasta: Chapter 1 is a 2024 Nepali action thriller film directed by Saurav Chaudhary under the banner of Dark Horse Entertainment and Seven Seas Entertainment. Released on 1 March 2024, the film stars Saugat Malla, Najir Husen, Nischal Basnet, Pramod Agrahari, Malika Mahat, and Bijay Baral.

Koshish Chhetri (Parajuli) is a singer, composer, and actor from Nepal. He was born in Hetauda, Nepal, on July 13, 1989. He started his singing career in 2012 AD. He is known for Daiba Ko Rish, Gorkhali, and Sani Nani Nepali songs.
