Shahid Hasan, known by professionally as Misha Sawdagor, is a Bangladeshi film actor known for playing villains. As of 2020, according to him, he has performed in more than 700 films. He won Bangladesh National Film Awards 3 times for his roles in the films Boss Number One (2011), Olpo Olpo Premer Golpo (2014) and Bir (2020). He first got noticed as a villain in the 1995 film Asha Bhalobasha starring Salman Shah. After Shah's death, he continued playing the villain opposite other actors, but failed to achieve any mainstream success or recognition. From 2006 onwards he started playing the main antagonist in a long string of hit movies starring Shakib Khan in the lead role and mostly Apu Biswas as the lead actress, and established himself as a leading antagonist in the Cinema of Bangladesh.
Shakib Khan is a Bangladeshi film actor, producer, occasional singer, film organiser and media personality who works in Bengali films, both in Bangladesh and West Bengal. Khan has prolific career spanning over two decades, during which he has appeared in more than 250 films and described as one of the most successful actors in Bangladesh. Most of his films were commercially and critically successful.
Shahenshah is a 2020 Bangladeshi action romantic drama film directed by Shamim Ahamed Roni. The film stars Shakib Khan, Nusrat Faria and Rodela Jannat in the lead roles. The cast also includes Misha Sawdagor, Ahmed Sharif, Amit Hasan, Shiba Shanu, and Don in supporting roles. Shapla Media produced the film.
Gohiner Gaan is a 2019 Bangladeshi musical film. The film was written and directed by Sadat Hossain and produced by Enamul Haque under the banner of Bangladhol. The film stars Asif Akbar and Toma Mirza in the lead roles and Syed Hasan Imam, Tanzika Amin, Aman Reza and Quazi Asif Rahman played supporting roles in the film. It is the first feature musical film of Bangladesh.
Bidrohi is a 2022 Bangladeshi action drama film. The film is directed by Shahin Sumon and is produced by Selim Khan under the banner of Shapla Media. The story, screenplay and dialogue were written by Delwar Hossain Dil. It features Shakib Khan, Shabnom Bubly and Sushmita Mridula in the lead roles. Also features Misha Sawdagor, Amit Hasan, Shiba Shanu, Don, Sadek Bachchu and Saberi Alam have played supporting roles in film.
Golui is a 2022 Bangladeshi periodical romantic film directed by SA Haque Alik and co-produced by Khorshed Alam Khosru. It has been made on the basis of the traditional boat race of rural Bengal and the life of the people of a vast village. The film stars Shakib Khan, Puja Cherry, Azizul Hakim and Suchorita in the lead roles. The cast also includes Fazlur Rahman Babu, Suchorita, Ali Raj, Jhuna Chowdhury, Somu Chowdhury in supporting roles.
Leader: Amie Bangladesh is a 2023 Bangladeshi political action drama film. The film was directed by Topu Khan and produced by Syed Ashik Rahman under the banner of Bengal Multimedia. It revolves around Nafees Iqbal, a conscious young man who embarked on a transformative journey to rid society of corruption and the misuse of political power, featuring Shabnom Bubly, Misha Sawdagor, Shahiduzzaman Selim in the lead roles. It is the last film of Shakib Khan and Shabnom Bubly as a Duo.
Priyotoma is a 2023 Bangladeshi romantic action film. The film was directed by Himel Ashraf, and is the second he has directed. It was produced by Arshad Adnan under the banner of Versatile Media. The film story was written by late Faruk Hossain alone and Himel Ashraf jointly wrote the screenplay and dialogues with him. It is a tragic love story that left an indelible mark on Sumon's life, shattering his world and left him forever transformed, featuring Idhika Paul, Shahiduzzaman Selim and Lutfur Rahman George in the lead role. Many others including Elina Shammi, Don and Shiba Shanu performed important roles.
Kothin Protishodh is a 2014 Bangladeshi action drama film directed by Nazrul Islam Khan and produced by Mohammad Golam Morshed and Shondhani Kothachitro. The movie features an ensemble cast of Shakib Khan, Apu Biswas, Uzzal, Parvin Sultana Diti, Ali Raj Mizu Ahmed, and Misha Sawdagar.
Elina Shammi is a Bangladeshi model, presenter and actress. She made her debut in Shah Alam Kiron's '71 Er Ma Jononi in 2014. Known for her role in the highest grossing Bangladeshi film of all time Priyotoma and Mujib: The Making of a Nation, where she portrayed as Khaleda Zia, the former prime minister of Bangladesh.
Toofan is a 2024 Bangladeshi period crime action thriller film directed by Raihan Rafi and produced by Shahriar Shakil under the banner of Alpha-i Studios Ltd. The story of the film revolves around a gangster of Bangladesh in the nineties, featuring Shakib Khan along with Mimi Chakraborty and Masuma Rahman Nabila, while Chanchal Chowdhury made an extended cameo appearance.
Lal Shari is a 2023 Bangladeshi romantic drama film directed and written by Bandhan Biswas and produced by Apu Biswas under the banner of Apu–Joy Cholochitra. The film stars Symon Sadik, Apu Biswas, Sumit Sengupta, Dilruba Doyel, Shahiduzzaman Selim, Shahed Ali, Mahmudul Islam Mithu, Subrata, and Don. It marked Apu Biswas' debut as producer.
Moyurakkhi is a 2024 Bangladeshi thriller film directed by Rashid Polash and story, screenplay and dialogue by Golam Rabbani. It was produced by Chowdhury Nizam Nishow and executive producer is Shahadat Hossain Liton. The music of the film was directed by Jahid Nirob. Bobby Haque and Sudeep Kumar Deep played the lead roles and Sadia Afreen Mahi, Sumit Sengupta, Deepak Suman and others played the supporting roles. It was scheduled to release on 17 June 2024 on holiday Eid al-Adha.
