Khan Ataur Rahman was a Bangladeshi film actor, director, producer, screenplay writer, music composer, and singer, best known for his role in the film Jibon Theke Neya (1970). He received the Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Screenplay for the films Sujon Sokhi (1975) and Danpite Chhele (1980). He was awarded Ekushey Padak posthumously in 2003 by the Government of Bangladesh.

Bangladesh Black Hat Hackers aka BD Black Hats is a hacker group based in Bangladesh. It claimed in 2012 to have hacked Indian websites in retaliation for border killings by the Indian Border Security Force and the construction of the Tipaimukh Dam. Although Bangladesh Black Hat Hackers declared this cyber war, later two other Bangladesh-based hacker groups Bangladesh Cyber Army and 3xp1r3 Cyber Army also joined them.

Deen Muhammad Khan (1900–1974) was a Bangladeshi Deobandi Islamic scholar and Mufassir. He was known for interpreting the Quran in Urdu. After completed his studies at Darul Uloom Deoband, he started teaching. He was one of the founders of Jamia Qurania Arabia Lalbagh. He taught for sometime in the Department of Islamic Studies at University of Dhaka and later at Government Madrasah-e-Alia. He was a politician of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Bangladesh.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Ashraf Ali Bishwanathi</span> Bangladeshi Islamic scholar (1928–2005)

Ashraf Ali Bishwanathi (1928–2005) was a Bangladeshi Deobandi Islamic scholar, educator, politician and religious writer. He was called "Baba-e Jamiat" in order to lay the foundation of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Bangladesh in East Pakistan and present day Bangladesh. He was also the president of the party for 2001 to 2005. He was also the founder of Jamia Islamia Darul Uloom Madania Bishwanath, Madania Qawmia Mahila Madrasa and the literary magazine Monthly Al Farooq.

Elliott Bridge is an old bridge over the Boral River in Sirajganj, north-western Bangladesh. The pillarless bridge is named after the Lieutenant Governor named Charles Alfred Elliott. It cost 45 thousand takas to make it. It is one of the major attractions of Sirajganj city.
