Nadja Tiller was an Austrian actress in film, television, and on stage. She was one of the most popular German-speaking actresses in the international cinema of the 1950s and 1960s, receiving international recognition when she played the title role in the 1958 film Das Mädchen Rosemarie (Rosemary) in 1958, shown at the Venice Film Festival. It opened the way to international films. She often played alongside her husband, Walter Giller.

Constantin Film AG is a German mini-major film production and distribution company based in Munich. The company, which belongs to Swiss media conglomerate Highlight Communications AG, is a large independent German maker and distributor of productions in the entire field of audio-visual fiction and non-fiction. Company activity is based on the five pillars of film production/procurement of rights, TV production, film distribution, home entertainment and licence trading/TV exploitation. Constantin Film AG has released 36 of the 100 most successful German films of the last 20 years, including four of the Top 5: Manitou's Shoe, Traumschiff Surprise – Periode 1, Fack ju Göhte and Fack ju Göhte 2. The Fack ju Göhte trilogy was concluded in 2017 with Fack ju Göhte 3 and is now the most successful German film series of all time. Internationally, Constantin Film is best known for the successful Resident Evil film franchise, which has earned US$1.2 billion worldwide to date and is also known as the highest-grossing film series based on a video game. Most recent successes include TV series Shadowhunters, which won four People's Choice Awards in 2018, and the live-action Resident Evil television series. Marco Johann Kreuzpaintner is a Bafta winning film director, executive producer and screenwriter. He is widely known for his coming-out coming-of-age feature film Summer Storm, the critical acclaimed Netflix series Bodies, the British Academy of Film and Television Arts winning series The Lazarus Project ] and his Amazon Prime series Beat which won him Germany’s prestigious Grimme Preis and. His fantasy film Krabat (film) starring Daniel Brühl and David Kross and the screen adaptation of the Ferdinand von Schirach novel The Collini Case starring Elyas M’Barek, Alexandra Maria Lara and film legend Franco Nero were box office hits in their original territory Germany. Kreuzpaintner’s U.S. feature film Trade (film), starring Academy Award winner Kevin Kline, is a story about human trafficking. It was the first film to premiere at the United Nations on Invitation of former U.N. secretary-general Ban Ki-moon. The film played a key to finally passing a law against sex trafficking role in the state of New York.

Henrik Galeen was an Austrian-born actor, screenwriter and film director considered an influential figure in the development of German Expressionist cinema during the silent era.

Only the Wind Knows the Answer is a 1974 West German-French thriller film directed by Alfred Vohrer and starring Maurice Ronet, Marthe Keller and Karin Dor. It was entered into the 9th Moscow International Film Festival. Location shooting took place on the French Riviera, Zurich, Frankfurt and Munich.

Till the End of the Night is a 2023 German thriller film directed and co-written by Christoph Hochhäusler. Starring Timocin Ziegler, Thea Ehre and Michael Sideris, the film is about an undercover agent who is supposed to gain the trust of a criminal through a fictitious relationship with a contact person. It is selected to compete for the Golden Bear at the 73rd Berlin International Film Festival, where it had its world premiere on 24 February 2023. The film is also nominated for Best Feature Film Teddy Award.

Seneca – On the Creation of Earthquakes is a 2023 German-Moroccan historical drama dark comedy film directed by Robert Schwentke, starring John Malkovich as Seneca. The film is about the last days of the ancient philosopher Lucius Annaeus Seneca and the beginnings of Emperor Nero's despotic regime in Ancient Rome.
