Devi Sri Prasad, commonly known by his initials DSP, is an Indian music composer, singer, and lyricist primarily known for his work in Telugu cinema, along with Tamil cinema. He has received numerous accolades, including a National Film Award, a Nandi Award, ten Filmfare Awards, seven SIIMA Awards, and five CineMAA Awards.
Assamese cinema, also known as Jollywood, is the Indian film industry of Assamese language. It is based in Assam, India. The industry was born in 1935 when Jyoti Prasad Agarwala released his movie Joymoti. Since then the Assamese cinema has developed a slow-paced, sensitive style. In the beginning the industry were called Jollywood, for Agarwala's Jyoti Chitraban Film Studio.
Vijaya Nirmala was an Indian actress, director, and producer known for her works predominantly in Telugu cinema along with a few Malayalam and Tamil films. In a career spanning over six decades, she acted in more than 200 films and directed 44 films. In 2002, she entered the Guinness Book of World Records as the female director who has directed the most number of films in the world. In 2008, she received the Raghupathi Venkaiah Award for lifetime achievement in Telugu cinema.
Tadepalli Lakshmi Kantha Rao was an Indian actor and producer known for his works predominantly in Telugu cinema. Regarded as one of the finest method actors, Rao appeared in more than 400 feature films, starring in many, in a variety of genres including mythological, social and folklore. After a success string in folklore and swashbuckling films, he became popularly referred to as Kattula Kantha Rao. He has also acted in a few Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, and Malayalam movies. He has produced about five films under the Hyma Films banner.
Mandadi Prabhakar Reddy (1935–1997) was an Indian film character actor known for his works in Telugu cinema. He acted in over 472 films over three decades. He wrote stories for several acclaimed films, including Karthika Deepam. The "Dr. M Prabhakara Reddy Chalana Chitra Karmika Chitrapuri" in Manikonda, Hyderabad is named in honor of him. He won four Nandi Awards.

Anuradha is an Assamese language drama film directed by Rakesh Sharma and starring Meghranjani and Diganta Hazarika in the lead roles. The film was produced by Luit Kumar Barman under the banner of M L Entertainment and Cine Dream Unlimited, and released on 27 March 2015.
Sathyaraj is an Indian actor and film producer who has predominantly appeared in Tamil cinema. He started his career playing villains, supporting roles and character roles. Later, he played the lead in the films Saavi (1985) and Kadalora Kavithaigal (1986). He also acted as Thanthai Periyar in the Tamil Nadu government-sponsored film Periyar (2007). He was also the director of the film Villadhi Villain (1995), starring himself in three different roles.

He debuted as a child actor in the film Simhada Mari Sainya in the year 1981. Sarja had acted in more than 160 movies. He has directed 12 films and also produced and distributed a number of films. After starring in numerous Kannada films with minor roles, he starred in his first movie as an independent actor in Male Bantu Male. In 1984, Sarja made his Tamil debut in Rama Narayanan's film Nandri. During the subsequent years he acted in many Telugu and Kannada films portraying lead and supporting roles in Trimurtulu (1987), Premagni (1989), Prathap (1990) and Shivanaga (1992).
Ratnakar: A New Myth of Love is a 2019 Indian Assamese-language action thriller film directed by Jatin Bora and produced by Bora and Navanita Sharma's J.B. Production. The film stars Bora and Barsha Rani Bishaya, with Nishita Goswami, Pabitra Bora, Chetana Das, and Sanjeev Hazarika in supporting roles and features young Ashramika Saikia. It is the adaptation of 2016 Tamil film Theri.

Sri Raghupati is an Indian Assamese-language crime thriller film directed by Suvrat Kakoti. It stars Ravi Sarma, Arun Hazarika, Arun Nath, Priyam Pallavi, and Preety Kongana in lead roles. The film is about the issue of women trafficking in the region. It was released in Assam and some cities outside Assam. It is the highest grossing Assamese film of all time surpassing Bidurbhai (2024).
Wide Angle is an upcoming Assamese language film directed by Jayanta Nath and produced by Debajyoti Bora under the banner of Swavalamban Media and Entertainment. The story is based on Assamese author Nagen Saikia's story "Staff Photographeror Sobi" which evolves around a photographer from the time of the Assam Movement.
