He has directed and acted in several Marathi films of the late 1980s and early 1990s. He has received several awards including two National Film Awards and two Filmfare Awards Marathi.
Rajabhau Dattatraya Paranjpe, known as Raja Paranjape, was an Indian actor, director, producer and writer in the Marathi film and Hindi film industries.
