Konidela Chiranjeevi is an Indian actor, film producer and former politician who works predominantly in Telugu cinema. He is regarded as one of the most successful and influential actors in the history of Indian cinema. In a career spanning over four decades, he starred in over 150 feature films, predominantly in Telugu, as well as some films in Hindi, Tamil and Kannada. Chiranjeevi won the Andhra Pradesh state's highest film award, the Raghupathi Venkaiah Award, three Nandi Awards, and nine Filmfare Awards South including the Lifetime Achievement Award. In 2024, The Government of India honoured him with Padma Vibhushan, the second highest civilian honour. Earlier In 2006, he was honoured with the Padma Bhushan, India's third-highest civilian award, for his contributions to Indian cinema. In 2013, CNN-IBN named him as one of "the men who changed the face of the Indian Cinema".

Bhumika Chawla is an Indian actress who primarily works in Telugu film industry and in a Hindi and Tamil films to her credits. Chawla made her acting debut with the Telugu film Yuvakudu (2000).

Upendra is an Indian actor, film director, film producer, screenwriter, playback singer, lyricist and politician who worked primarily in Kannada films. He has also worked in a few Telugu films. Upendra was known for his thematic representation of Indian politics and society in his films. In 2017, He joined the political party Karnataka Pragnyavanta Janata Paksha, before quitting the party in 2018 due to internal differences and formed another party named Uttama Prajaakeeya Party (UPP), which was based on the principles of Prajakiya. He received an Honorary Doctorate from Angkor University in 2015.

Jaya Prada Nahata is an Indian actress and politician known for her works majorly in Telugu cinema in addition to Hindi and Tamil films in late '70s, '80s and early '90s. Jayaprada is the recipient of three Filmfare Awards South and has starred in many Telugu and Hindi films along with several Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, Bengali and Marathi films. She left the film industry at the peak of her career, as she joined the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) in 1994 and entered politics. She was a Member of Parliament (MP) from Rampur, Uttar Pradesh from 2004 to 2014.

Telugu films sold 23.3 crore tickets in 2022, the highest among various film industries in India.

In 2015, he received the BN Reddy National Award for his contribution to Indian cinema.

Sekhar Kammula is an Indian film director, screenwriter and producer who works in Telugu cinema. He has garnered two Filmfare Awards South, and six state Nandi Awards for his directional works. Sekhar Kammula was among the director's delegation to represent South Indian Cinema at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival.

Tarun Kumar is an Indian actor known for his works predominantly in Telugu cinema. He has also appeared in few Tamil and Malayalam films. He has received three state Nandi Awards and the National Film Award for his works. He received the National Film Award for Best Child Artist in 1991, for his work in Mani Ratnam's Anjali, which was India's official entry to the Oscars for that year. Tarun won critical acclaim with the Malayalam children's film, Abhayam (1991), which won the National Film Award for Best Children's Film for that year, and Tarun won the Best Child artist Award at the Furoshiki Film Festival in Japan.
