It is a Punjabi comedy about a simple boy, Tittu, and his journey to finally marry the girl of his dreams, Simran. She in turn happens to be interested in the local gangster, Gill Baiji. Gill Baiji gets shot by his arch rival Sidhu and this event changes Tittu's fate forever. The film has Jaswinder Bhalla, Gurpreet Ghuggi, Karamjit Anmol, B.N. Sharma and Jaggi Singh in supporting roles; it marked the Punjabi debut for Sapna Pabbi.

Ardaas Karaan is a 2019 Indian Punjabi-language social drama film directed by Gippy Grewal from a screenplay co-written with Rana Ranbir. It is sequel to Ardaas and the second installment in Ardaas series. Produced by Humble Motion Pictures; it stars Gurpreet Ghuggi, Gippy Grewal, Japji Khaira, Meher Vij, and Yograj Singh. The story of the film explores the generation gap and different conflicting opinion about life.

Oye Bhole Oye is a 2024 Indian Punjabi film directed by Varinder Ramgarhia and produced by KV Dhillon and Jagjeet Sandhu. It stars Jagjeet Sandhu, Irwin Meet Kaur, Dheeraj Kumar, Prakash Gadhu and Rupinder Rupi. It was scheduled to be released on 15 September 2023 but was postponed to 16 February 2024.

Jee Ve Sohneya Jee is a 2024 Indian Punjabi-language film directed by Thaparr. It stars Simi Chahal and Imran Abbas in lead roles and Mintu Kappa, Udaya Vakati Suriyanarayana, Ketabchi Ash, Alexander Garcia, Lee Nicholas Harris and Chetan Mohture in supporting roles. It was scheduled to be released on 6 October 2023 but the release date was pushed to 16 February 2024 on which it was eventually released.

Shinda Shinda No Papa is a 2024 Indian-Punjabi-language comedy film directed by Amarpreet GS Chhabra. The film stars Gippy Grewal who co-produced the film as well, Hina Khan and Grewal's son Shinda Grewal.

Warning 2 is a 2024 Indian Punjabi-language action drama film directed by Amar Hundal, written by Gippy Grewal and Nasir Zaman. The film is produced by Gippy Grewal, Siddharth Anand Kumar, and Vikram Mehra. The film stars Gippy Grewal, Prince Kanwaljit Singh, Jasmin Bhasin and Dheeraj Kumar. The film was released on 2 February 2024.

Vijay Kumar Arora is an Indian filmmaker and cinematographer who predominantly works in the Hindi and Punjabi film industries. He was awarded the National Film Award in 2018 at the 66th National Film Awards for the Punjabi film Harjeeta. His other directorial Punjabi film Guddiyan Patole earned him a nomination for Best Director at the PTC Punjabi Film Awards in 2020. The film went on to win the Jury's Choice Award for Best Film at the 10th PTC Punjabi Film Awards in 2020. His next film as a director is a Hindi film Son of Sardaar 2, an action-comedy sequel to Son of Sardaar, scheduled for release in May 2025.
