Bhupatiraju Ravi Shankar Raju, known professionally as Ravi Teja, is an Indian actor and film producer who mainly works in Telugu cinema. Known for his roles in action comedy films, he is popular by the moniker "Mass Maharaja". One of the highest-paid Telugu film actors, Teja has won three state Nandi Awards and one Filmfare Award South. He was featured by Forbes India in the list of top 100 Celebrities in 2012, 2013, and 2015.
Venky is a 2004 Indian Telugu-language comedy thriller film written and directed by Srinu Vaitla, and produced by Atluri Purnachandra Rao. The film stars Ravi Teja, Sneha, and Ashutosh Rana while Devi Sri Prasad composed music. The film marks Vaitla's first collaboration with writers Kona Venkat and Gopimohan.
Bobby is a 2002 Indian Telugu-language romance film written and directed by Sobhan and produced by K. Krishna Mohan Rao. The movie stars Mahesh Babu, Aarthi Agarwal, Raghuvaran, and Prakash Raj while Brahmanandam, Sunil, Pragathi, Ravi Babu, and Meher Ramesh play supporting roles. Raghavendra is a 2003 Indian Telugu-language action film directed by Suresh Krishna and written by Posani Krishna Murali. It stars Prabhas, Anshu and Shweta Agarwal. The music was scored by Mani Sharma. It was also dubbed in Hindi as Sanyasi: The Warrior Saint (2008) and Malayalam as Sakthi in spite of being remade by Suresh himself in Hindi as Rocky: The Rebel. It was remade in Bangladeshi Bengali as Lover Number One starring Bappy Chowdhury and Pori Moni.
Adavi Ramudu is a 2004 Indian Telugu-language romantic action film which was directed by B. Gopal. Prabhas and Aarti Agarwal played the lead roles. The film features a love story between a tribal youth and his childhood sweetheart. This was Prabhas' next movie immediately after the success of Varsham. Upon release, it received mostly negative reception from the critics and audience alike and was a flop at the box-office. The film was later dubbed into Hindi as The Strong Man Badal in 2009.
Dubai Seenu is a 2007 Indian Telugu-language action comedy film directed by Srinu Vaitla. Produced by D. V. V. Danayya, the film stars Ravi Teja and Nayanthara. It has music composed by Mani Sharma.
Anandam (transl. Happiness) is a 2001 Indian Telugu-language romance film, directed by Srinu Vaitla and starring Akash and Rekha in the lead roles. The music of the film was composed by Devi Sri Prasad. The film was sensational hit at box office and ran for 200 days in two centers, 175 days in two centers and 100 days in all major centers. It was a commercial and critical success of the time. This film made Akash an overnight star of the Telugu film industry. The film was remade in Tamil as Inidhu Inidhu Kaadhal Inidhu, in Kannada as Anand and in Hindi as Mujhse Fraaandship Karoge, both versions being produced by Ramoji Rao.
