Ready is a 2011 Indian Hindi-language action comedy film directed by Anees Bazmee. Produced by T-Series Films, Rawail Grandsons Entertainment and Software Pvt. Ltd., Sohail Khan Productions and Eros International, the film is the official remake of the 2008 Telugu film of the same name directed by Srinu Vaitla. The film stars Salman Khan and Asin Thottumkal in their second film together after London Dreams. Ready was distributed by Wave Cinemas and One Up Entertainment. Khan also narrated the film, while the story was written by Gopimohan and Kona Venkat.
Student of the Year is a 2012 Indian teen sports romantic comedy film directed by Karan Johar and produced by Dharma Productions and Red Chillies Entertainment. The film features debutantes Sidharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan, alongside Rishi Kapoor, Sana Saeed, Ronit Roy, Sahil Anand, Ram Kapoor, and Farida Jalal. The music was composed by Vishal–Shekhar, while cinematography and editing were handled by Ayananka Bose and Deepa Bhatia.
Chashme Baddoor is an Indian 2013 Hindi language slapstick comedy film directed by David Dhawan and written by Sajid and Farhad Samji. An official remake of the 1981 film Chashme Buddoor, it was produced by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures and stars Ali Zafar and Taapsee Pannu with Divyenndu and Siddharth in lead roles. The film was released on 5 April 2013.
Besharam is a 2013 Indian action comedy film directed by Abhinav Kashyap. The film features Ranbir Kapoor opposite Pallavi Sharda, who marks her return to cinema. Rishi Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor and Javed Jaffrey also feature in the film. Filming for Besharam was scheduled to commence on 10 December 2012, with part of it taking place on a film set in Film City, Mumbai. The film received largely negative reviews upon its release on 2 October 2013.
Jai Ho is a 2014 Indian Hindi-language political action drama film directed by Sohail Khan, who also produced the film under the banner Sohail Khan Productions and co-produced by Sunil Lulla under Eros International, which distributed the film. It is an official remake of the Telugu film Stalin, which is also inspired by the American-drama film Pay It Forward. The film stars Salman Khan, Tabu, Daisy Shah, Danny Denzongpa, Sana Khan and Aditya Pancholi, while Sunil Shetty, and Genelia D'Souza make cameo appearances.
Aanand L. Rai is an Indian film director and producer known for directing the romantic comedy-dramas Tanu Weds Manu (2011) and its sequel Tanu Weds Manu Returns (2015), and the romantic drama Raanjhanaa (2013), with the latter two earning him nominations for the Filmfare Award for Best Director.
Murder is a series of Indian thriller films produced by Mahesh Bhatt and Mukesh Bhatt under the banner of Vishesh Films. The first film directed by Anurag Basu was released in 2004, second film by Mohit Suri was released in 2011, and third film by Vishesh Bhatt was released in 2013. A fourth film currently titled Murder 4 is stated to be under production.
