Hindi cinema, popularly known as Bollywood, consisting primarily of films in the Hindi language.
The following list of films is sorted in terms of Indian rupees. Currency conversions to US dollars are also given as reference points, as many of these films had international releases. However, the currency conversions may not be consistent, as the dollar-rupee exchange rate has varied over time, [1] from 48 rupees per dollar in 2009 [2] to over 65 rupees per dollar in 2017. [3] The exchange even more greatly prior to 2009, so a number of older films which grossed highly in terms of US dollars are under-represented on this list.

Siddharth Raj Anand is an Indian filmmaker. He is the grandson of screenwriter Inder Raj Anand and is primarily known for his work with Yash Raj Films. He first became known for directing the successful romantic comedies Salaam Namaste (2005), Ta Ra Rum Pum (2007), Bachna Ae Haseeno (2008) and Anjaana Anjaani (2010). He then established himself as a leading action filmmaker with Bang Bang! (2014) and the YRF Spy Universe films: War (2019) and Pathaan (2023). These films rank among the highest-grossing Hindi films.
Dhoom is an Indian Hindi-language action thriller film franchise. The films revolve around ACP Jai Dixit, an Assistant Commissioner of Police and his sidekick Ali Akbar Fateh Khan, who attempt to capture wanted, professional thieves. It is the sixth largest Bollywood film franchise in terms of box-office revenue.
Sonakshi Sinha is an Indian actress who works in Hindi films and series. The daughter of actors and politicians Poonam and Shatrughan Sinha, she has appeared in Forbes India's Celebrity 100 list from 2012 to 2017, and in 2019. She is the recipient of several accolades, including one Filmfare Award and two Zee Cine Awards.
Balaji Motion Pictures is a subsidiary company of Balaji Telefilms Limited which is an Indian film production and distribution company established by Shobha Kapoor and her daughter Ekta Kapoor. Located in Mumbai, and it produces and distributes Hindi films. The chairman of the company is former Bollywood actor, Jeetendra Kapoor.
