One of the most popular and highest-paid actresses of her time, she is the recipient of several accolades, including a National Film Award and four Filmfare Awards.

The Filmfare Award for Best Actor is an award, which is presented annually at the Filmfare Awards to an actor via a jury; it is given by Filmfare for Hindi (Bollywood) films. The award was first given in 1954. The most recent winner, as of 2024, is Ranbir Kapoor.

Ajay Singh Deol, better known as Sunny Deol, is an Indian actor, film director, producer, politician and former Member of Parliament in the Lok Sabha, the lower house of Indian Parliament. He was elected from the Gurdaspur constituency of Punjab. One of the highest grossing actors of Indian cinema, he has worked in more than 90 Hindi films in a career spanning over four decades and is particularly known for his angry action hero persona. Deol has won several awards including two National Film Awards and two Filmfare Awards.

Siddharth Raj Anand is an Indian filmmaker. He is the grandson of screenwriter Inder Raj Anand and is primarily known for his work with Yash Raj Films. He first became known for directing the successful romantic comedies Salaam Namaste (2005), Ta Ra Rum Pum (2007), Bachna Ae Haseeno (2008) and Anjaana Anjaani (2010). He then established himself as a leading action filmmaker with Bang Bang! (2014) and the YRF Spy Universe films: War (2019) and Pathaan (2023). These films rank among the highest-grossing Hindi films.

Sajid Nadiadwala is an Indian film producer, film director and screenwriter who works in Hindi cinema. He is the owner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. Grandson of filmmaker A.K. Nadiadwala, Sajid has written and produced films including Housefull (2010), Baaghi (2016) to directing Kick (2014) that brought him various debutant director awards, and wrote the Marathi film Lai Bhaari that was produced by Riteish Deshmukh.

Dharma Productions Pvt. Ltd. is an Indian film production and distribution company established by Yash Johar in 1979. It was taken over in 2004, after his death, by his son, Karan Johar. Based in Mumbai, it mainly produces and distributes Hindi films.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Producers Guild Film Awards</span> Indian film and television accolade

The Producers Guild Film Awards, previously known as the Apsara Awards, is an award event hosted by the Producers Guild of India to recognize excellence in Hindi film and television. Originated by filmmaker and scholar Amit Khanna in 2004, the Guild Awards were one of the major award events from 2004 till 2016, when the last awards ceremony happened. The 22-karat gold statuette was sculpted and designed by the jewellery brand Tanishq and was "inspired by the rich heritage of one of India's most treasured possessions – the Ajanta and Ellora Caves." Nominations for the awards come from selected members of the guild, with the full membership available to vote for the winners. The ballots cast by the guild members are then taken to a common venue for the final counting.

Karan Ravi Malhotra is an Indian film director and screenwriter, best known for directing the action crime drama film Agneepath (2012) and Shahenshah (2025).

<i>Bang Bang!</i> 2014 film by Siddharth Anand

Bang Bang! is a 2014 Indian Hindi-language action comedy film directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Parth Arora of Star Studios. The film is an official remake of the 2010 American film Knight and Day and stars Hrithik Roshan, Katrina Kaif, Javed Jaffrey, and Pavan Malhotra. In the film, a mysterious thief encounters an unassuming bank receptionist, which sets off a chain of events resulting in a series of escapades.

Hrithik Roshan is an Indian actor known for his work in Hindi-language films. As a child, he made uncredited appearances in three films directed by his maternal grandfather, J. Om Prakash, the first of which was in Aasha (1980). In 1986, Roshan played the adopted son of Rajinikanth's character in Prakash's crime drama Bhagwaan Dada. Roshan subsequently worked as an assistant director on four films, including Khudgarz (1987) and Karan Arjun (1995), all of which were directed by his father, Rakesh.

War is a 2019 Indian Hindi-language action thriller film co-written and directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Aditya Chopra under Yash Raj Films. The third installment in the YRF Spy Universe, the film stars Hrithik Roshan, Tiger Shroff and Vaani Kapoor in lead roles. The film follows Khalid Rahmani, an Indian RAW agent and soldier, who is assigned to eliminate his former mentor Kabir Dhaliwal, who has gone rogue.

<i>Vikram Vedha</i> (2022 film) 2022 film directed by Pushkar–Gayathri

Vikram Vedha is a 2022 Indian Hindi-language neo-noir action thriller film directed and co-written by Pushkar–Gayathri and jointly produced by YNOT Studios, Friday Filmworks, Reliance Entertainment, T-Series Films and Jio Studios. A remake of the director duo's 2017 Tamil film of the same name, it is inspired by the Indian folktale Vetala Panchavimshati and stars Saif Ali Khan and Hrithik Roshan as the titular anti-heroes. Radhika Apte, Rohit Saraf and Yogita Bihani play supporting roles. In the film, a police officer sets out to track down and kill a gangster. After voluntarily surrendering himself, the gangster tells the police officer three stories which change his perceptions of good and evil.

YRF Spy Universe is an Indian media franchise and shared universe centered on a series of spy action films, which feature various fictional RAW agents. The films are produced and distributed by Yash Raj Films.

<i>Tiger 3</i> 2023 Indian film by Maneesh Sharma

Tiger 3 is a 2023 Indian Hindi-language action thriller film directed by Maneesh Sharma and produced by Aditya Chopra under Yash Raj Films. The film, which is the fifth instalment in YRF Spy Universe, stars Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi. A sequel to Ek Tha Tiger and Tiger Zinda Hai, the film is set after the events of War & Pathaan. In the film, Tiger and Zoya set out to stop a rogue ISI agent Aatish Rehman, who uses them to stage a coup against the Pakistani government in pursuit of a destructive agenda against India.

<i>Fighter</i> (2024 film) Indian action film by Siddharth Anand

Fighter is a 2024 Indian Hindi-language action film directed by Siddharth Anand, based on a story he wrote with Ramon Chibb. Produced by Viacom18 Studios and Marflix Pictures, it stars Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor. The film is the first installment in a planned aerial action franchise.
