Dr. Shriram Lagoo was an Indian film and theatre actor, in Hindi and Marathi, in addition to being an ENT Surgeon. He was known for his character roles in films. He acted in over 250 films including Hindi and Marathi films as well as Hindi, Marathi and Gujarati plays, and directed over 20 Marathi plays. He was also very vocal and active in furthering progressive and rational social causes, for example in 1999, he and social activist G. P. Pradhan undertook a fast in support of anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare. He won the 1978 Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor for the Hindi film Gharaonda. His autobiography is titled Lamaan (लमाण), which means "the carrier of goods".

Gopal Krishna is a 1938 Marathi and Hindi mythological social film from Prabhat Film Company. The film was a remake of Prabhat Film Company's first silent film Gopal Krishna (1929). It was made in Marathi and Hindi simultaneously. The film was directed by Sheikh Fattelal and V. G. Damle and starred Ram Marathe, Shanta Apte, Parshuram, Prahlad, Ulhas and Ganpatrao. The story was written by Shivram Vashikar and the music was by Krishnarao.

Nandakumar is a 1938 Indian Tamil-language film directed by Keshav Rao Dhaibar. Produced by A. V. Meiyappan, the mythological film stars T. P. Rajalakshmi, C. V. V. Panthulu, and T. S. Rajalakshmi. T. R. Mahalingam and T. R. Ramachandran made their cinematic debuts through the film.

<i>Seetimaarr</i> 2021 film by Sampath Nandi

Seetimaarr is a 2021 Indian Telugu-language sports masala film written and directed by Sampath Nandi, and produced by Srinivasaa Silver Screen. The film stars Gopichand and Tamannaah Bhatia. It features music by Mani Sharma and cinematography by Soundararajan. The film's production and released were deferred due to COVID-19 pandemic. The title of the film was taken from the song "Seeti Maar" from DJ: Duvvada Jagannadham. Seetimaarr was theatrically released on 10 September 2021, coinciding with Ganesh Chaturthi, and received positive critical reviews. However, it collected ₹15.10 crore within the first eight days against a production budget of ₹25 crore.
