Konidela Chiranjeevi is an Indian actor, film producer and politician who predominantly works in Telugu cinema. He is regarded as one of the most successful and influential actors in the history of Indian cinema. In a career spanning over four decades, he starred in over 150 feature films, predominantly in Telugu, as well as some films in Hindi, Tamil and Kannada. Chiranjeevi won the Andhra Pradesh state's highest film award, the Raghupathi Venkaiah Award, three Nandi Awards, and nine Filmfare Awards South including the Lifetime Achievement Award. In 2024, the Government of India honoured him with Padma Vibhushan, the second highest civilian honour. Earlier In 2006, he was honoured with the Padma Bhushan, India's third-highest civilian award, for his contributions to Indian cinema. In 2013, CNN-IBN named him as one of "the men who changed the face of the Indian Cinema".

Telugu cinema, also known as Tollywood, is the segment of Indian cinema dedicated to the production of motion pictures in the Telugu language, widely spoken in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Telugu cinema is based in Film Nagar, Hyderabad. As of 2021, Telugu cinema is the largest film industry in India in terms of box-office. Telugu films sold 23.3 crore tickets in 2022, the highest among various film industries in India.

Referred to in the media as the "Rebel Star", he has appeared in over 20 films, and has received seven Filmfare Awards nominations, a Nandi Award, and a SIIMA Award.

Shatamanam Bhavati is a 2017 Indian Telugu-language family drama written and directed by Satish Vegesna. The film is produced by Dil Raju under Sri Venkateswara Creations and stars Sharwanand, Anupama Parameswaran, Prakash Raj and Jayasudha in key roles. An ensemble cast including Naresh, Indraja, Raja Ravindra, Shiju, Himaja, and Sithara plays supporting roles. Shatamanam Bhavati deals with the themes of "tradition-technology conflict", "joint family vs nuclear family", and "midlife crisis".

<i>Uppena</i> 2021 Indian Telugu-language film by Bucchi Babu

Uppena is a 2021 Indian Telugu-language romantic drama film written and directed by debutant Buchi Babu Sana. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, it stars debutants Panja Vaisshnav Tej and Krithi Shetty alongside Vijay Sethupathi in a prominent role. Set in Kakinada, the plot follows fisherman Aasi, who falls in love with Bebamma. Her father Raayanam is an influential zamindar, who fiercely protects his daughter to safeguard his family's honour.

Amritha Aiyer is an Indian actress who appears predominantly in Tamil and Telugu language films. Starting her career in Malayalam film industry with Padmavyooham (2012) in an uncredited role to supporting role in Tamil film industry with Tenaliraman (2014), she made her Lead female role debut with the Tamil film Padaiveeran in 2018 and has since starred in the Tamil films Bigil (2019) and Lift (2021) and Telugu films Red (2021), and Hanu Man (2024).

Aha is an Indian over-the-top streaming service which offers Telugu and Tamil-language content. It is owned by Arha Media & Broadcasting Private Limited, a joint venture between Geetha Arts and My Home Group. The service was soft launched on 25 January 2020 and launched officially on 25 March 2020, coinciding with Ugadi, the Telugu New Year.

Teja Sajja is an Indian actor who works in Telugu films. He began his career as a child actor in Choodalani Vundi (1998) leading up to Boss (2006). As an adult, Sajja had a supporting role in Oh! Baby (2019). He has since played the lead roles in films such as Zombie Reddy (2021) and Hanu-Man (2024). Hanu-Man is the highest-grossing Indian film of 2024, highest-grossing Telugu film of 2024 and eighth highest-grossing Telugu film worldwide.

Pan-Indianfilm is a term related to Indian cinema that originated with Telugu cinema as a mainstream commercial cinema appealing to audiences across the country with a spread to world markets. S. S. Rajamouli pioneered the pan-Indian films movement with duology of epic action films Baahubali: The Beginning (2015) and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (2017), that changed the demography of Indian cinema.
