Amrish Puri was an Indian actor who was an important figure in Indian theatre and cinema. He is remembered for playing iconic villainous roles in Punjabi, Hindi cinema, Telugu, as well as other Indian and international film industries. To Indian audiences he is the most remembered for his role as Mogambo in Shekhar Kapur's Hindi film Mr. India (1987), and to Western audiences he is best known as Mola Ram in Steven Spielberg's Hollywood film Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984).

Raj Babbar is an Indian Hindi and Punjabi film actor and politician belonging to Indian National Congress. three-time member of the Lok Sabha and a two-time member of the Upper House of the Indian Parliament. He was the President of Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee.

Ghulam Mohiuddin ; also spelled Ghulam Mohi-Ud-Din) is a Pakistani actor of Urdu and Punjabi films.

Rajendra Nath Malhotra was an Indian actor and comedian in Hindi and Punjabi films.

Rajkumar Kohli is an Indian film director. He was famous for directing several popular Bollywood films such as the 1966 Dulla Bhatti and the 1970s Lootera starring Dara Singh and Nishi. Other notable films included films with ensemble cast such as Nagin (1976), Jaani Dushman (1979), Badle Ki Aag, Naukar Biwi Ka and Raaj Tilak (1984). His films frequently featured actors like Sunil Dutt, Dharmendra, Jeetendra, Shatrughan Sinha and actresses Reena Roy and Anita Raj.

Musarrat Nazir Khawaja is a Pakistani singer and film actress, who acted in many Urdu and Punjabi films. She, many years later, also sang solo, mostly wedding and folk songs.

Aasia Pakistani film actress

Aasia Begum, better known as simply Aasia, was a Pakistani film actress who was active in the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s.

Bahar Begum is an actress best known for many Pakistani movies since 1956. She was first introduced to the Pakistani film industry by the renowned film director Anwar Kamal Pasha in film Chann Mahi (1956). Anwar Kamal Pasha is the one that gave her the professional film world name Bahar Begum. She later acted both in Punjabi, Pashto and Urdu language Pakistani films and had a very active career from 1956 through the 1980s. She has more than 600 films to her credit.

Satwant Kaur is an Indian film and television actress who works in Indian films. She started her career through Punjabi music videos, television soap operas and telefilms in the earlier days and ended up appearing in the films. She is known for her portrayals in movies like Ik Jind Ik Jaan (2006), Singh Is Kinng (2008), Majaajan (2008), Ardaas (2016), Dev D (2009), Udta Punjab (2016), TV Serial Kach Diyan Wanga and Gurdas Maan's video song Pind Dian Galian etc., along with many others.
