This is a list of Tamil language films produced in the Tamil cinema in India that were released in 2013.

Contents

Post-amendment to the Tamil Nadu Entertainment Tax Act 1939 on 27 September 2011, gross jumped to 130 per cent of net for films with non-Tamil titles and U certificates as well. [1] Commercial Taxes Department disclosed 68 crore in entertainment tax revenue for the year. [2]

Karimanal Venkatesan Anand was an Indian cinematographer, film director and photojournalist, worked mainly in the Tamil film industry. After a short period as a journalist, he became a cinematographer in the early 1990s, working on about fifteen films in the Southern and Hindi cinema industries. Anand won the National Film Award for Best Cinematography for his debut film as a cinematographer, Thenmavin Kombath. In 2005, Anand turned film director with the critically acclaimed Kana Kandaen. He was a founding member of the Indian Society of Cinematographers (ISC).

Sri Rama Rajyam is a 2011 Indian Telugu-language devotional film directed by Bapu who co-wrote the film with Mullapudi Venkata Ramana, and produced by Yalamanchali Saibabu. The film stars Nandamuri Balakrishna, Nayanthara, Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Srikanth, and its music was composed by Ilaiyaraaja, which won him Nandi Award for Best Music Director. Sri Rama Rajyam is a reboot of the 1963 blockbuster film Lava Kusa.

Thulli Vilayadu is a 2013 Tamil-language comedy thriller film written and directed by Vincent Selva and produced by D. Govindaraj. The film features newcomer Yuvaraj, Deepthi Nambiar, Soori, and Sendrayan in the lead roles. Prakash Raj and Jayaprakash play important roles with comic shades. Srikanth Deva has scored the music, while S. K. Boopathy has cranked the camera and V. T. Vijayan did the film's editing. The film released on 28 June 2013.

Lyca Productions is an Indian entertainment company, which was established by Subaskaran Allirajah in 2014. A subgroup of Lycamobile, the production studio has been involved in the production and distribution of Tamil films, Hindi films, Telugu films and Malayalam films made in India. It has produced some of Tamil cinema's biggest budget films, such as 2.0 (2018), Ponniyin Selvan: I (2022) and Ponniyin Selvan: II (2023).

The Chennai Football League, formerly known as the Madras Football League, is the group of state-level football leagues in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu, including the top-level CFA Senior Division League. The League is organised by the Chennai Football Association (CFA), which is affiliated to the Tamil Nadu Football Association (TNFA), the official football governing body of the state.
