He is best known for playing the role of Nikka in Nikka Zaildar series, Shivjit in Qismat & Qismat 2, Harjeet Singh in Harjeeta, and Haakam in Angrej.

<i>Harjeeta</i> Indian Punjabi-language sports-drama film

Harjeeta is a 2018 Indian Punjabi-language sports-drama film written by Jagdeep Sidhu and directed by Vijay Kumar Arora. Co-produced by Sizzlen Productions, Malika Productions, Omjee Group, and Villagers Film Studio; it stars Ammy Virk, Sawan Rupowali, Sameep Ranaut, and Pankaj Tripathi. The film chronicles the story of Harjeet Singh, a field hockey player raised from poor family and captained Indian team in Junior World Cup. The film was released on 18 May 2018. The film got positive reviews from critics but was a commercially unsuccessful. Harjeeta won two National Film Awards for Best Punjabi Film and Best Child Actor (Ranaut).

<i>Qismat</i> 2018 film directed by Jagdeep Sidhu

Qismat (transl. Destiny) is a 2018 Punjabi romantic drama film written and directed by Jagdeep Sidhu. Produced by Shri Narotam Ji Productions, the film stars Ammy Virk and Sargun Mehta in lead roles along with Guggu Gill, Tania and Harby Sangha in supporting roles. It was titled after a 2017 song of the same name, sung by Virk and starring Mehta in its music video. The film follows a man who falls in love whilst studying in Chandigarh, despite his marriage being arranged to another woman. It marked feature film debut for Tania.

Villagers Film Studio Private Limited is an Indian film production company founded by Ammy Virk and his brother Bhagwant Virk in 2017. Villagers Film Studio began to produce films in 2018 with Laung Laachi followed by Harjeeta and Guddiyan Patole.

Sukh Sanghera is a Canadian film and music video director associated with Punjabi-language films and music. He has directed over 300 Punjabi music videos. He has been nominated for various awards at PTC Punjabi Music Awards, winning one for his music video Diary sung by Amrinder Gill. In 2019, he directed Laiye Je Yaarian, for which he received PTC nomination for Best Debut Director.

<i>Nikka Zaildar 3</i> 2019 Punjabi romantic comedy film

Nikka Zaildar 3 is a 2019 Indian Punjabi-language romantic-comedy film directed by Simerjit Singh from a screenplay co-written by Jagdeep Sidhu and Gurpreet Singh Palheri. The film is third instalment of Nikka Zaildar film series. Co-produced by Viacom18 Studios and Patiala Motion Pictures, it stars Ammy Virk, Wamiqa Gabbi, Sonia Kour, and Nirmal Rishi in lead roles. The film chronicles the story of Nikka whose father's soul enters his body following his death. It also stars Sardar Sohi, Hardeep Gill, Baninder Bunny, Gurmeet Saajan, and Jagdeep Randhawa in supporting roles. The film was released on 20 September 2019.The film received negative reviews from critics.

<i>Puaada</i> 2021 Panjabi romantic comedy film

Puaada (transl. Problem) is a 2021 Indian Punjabi-language romantic comedy produced by A&A Pictures and Brat Films, directed by debutant director Rupinder Chahal, starring Ammy Virk and Sonam Bajwa in lead roles. The film follows the love story of a Punjabi village boy, running a dairy farm who is in a relationship with Raunak, an air force officer's daughter and the comedy of errors and confusion that happens the day their match is to be arranged. It was scheduled to be released on 2 April 2021, but due to the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, the release date was postponed. The film finally released theatrically on 12 August 2021 to coincide with Independence day week in India.

Pawan Gill is a film producer and filmmaker born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia now based in Mumbai, India. He has his ancestral roots hailing from Ludhiana, Punjab. He is known for producing films like Shadaa, Puaada, Super Singh and Honsla Rakh.

<i>Sher Bagga</i> 2022 Indian Punjabi-language comedy-drama film

Sher Bagga is a 2022 Indian Punjabi-language, comedy-drama film directed by Jagdeep Sidhu under the banner of Ammy Virk Productions. The film is produced by Ammy Virk and Daljeet Thind. The film stars Ammy Virk, Sonam Bajwa and Nirmal Rishi in the lead roles. The film was released worldwide in cinemas on 24 June 2022.

<i>Carry on Jatta 3</i> 2023 Indian Punjabi-language film

Carry On Jatta 3, also known by the initialism COJ3, is a 2023 Indian Punjabi-language comedy film directed by Smeep Kang and produced by Humble Motion Pictures. A sequel to both Carry on Jatta (2012) and Carry On Jatta 2 (2018), it stars Gippy Grewal, Binnu Dhillon and Sonam Bajwa in the lead roles with Gurpreet Ghuggi, Kavita Kaushik, Nasir Chinyoti, Jaswinder Bhalla, B.N. Sharma and Karamjit Anmol in supporting roles.

Naresh Kathooria is an Indian Punjabi film writer, producer, and actor. He is known for Lucky Di Unlucky Story (2013), Carry on Jatta (2012), Bha Ji in Problem (2013) and Uda Aida (2019), Chandigarh Amritsar Chandigarh (2019) and Chakk De Phatte (2008).

Maurh: Lehndi Rutt Di Nayak is a 2023 Indian Punjabi biographical historical drama film directed by Jatinder Mauhar. The movie stars Ammy Virk, Dev Kharoud and Vikramjeet Virk in the major roles. It was released on June 9, 2023.
