Niyi Akinmolayan is a Nigerian filmmaker and director and one of Nollywood’s most successful hitmakers. Five of his films rank in the top 50 highest grossing Nigerian films:The Wedding Party 2 (2017) Chief Daddy (2018), Prophetess (2021), My Village People (2021), and The Set Up (2019). He is also the founder and Creative Director of Anthill Studios, a media production facility. In January 2022, Anthill Studios signed a multi-year deal with Amazon Prime Video to become the exclusive global streaming home for Anthill’s slate of cinema releases following their theatrical runs in Nigeria.

The plot of the film is based on a young woman who drops her childhood innocence as she delves to become a criminal for survival. The film was released on 9 August 2019 and received mixed reviews and was also criticised for too much plot twist and turns in the screenplay. Despite the mixed reception, the film became a success at the box office. It was also streamed via Netflix on 22 April 2020.

Prophetess is a 2021 Nigerian sports comedy film directed by Niyi Akinmolayan. The film stars Toyin Abraham, Kehinde Bankole, Uzor Arukwe, Stan Nze and Tina Mba in the lead roles. The film is based on a local prophetess who make bold bogus predictions about the outcome of a local club football match which goes beyond her control. The film had its theatrical release on 2 April 2021 and opened to positive reviews from critics. It also became a success at the box office.

Dwindle is 2021 Nigerian comedy film based on the story of Sogo and Buta, two friends who hijack a car and venture into cabbing and how their lives take a drastic turn when their path runs into assassins who have just kidnapped the state governor. It was produced by Mimi Bartels for FilmOne Productions and directed by Kayode Kasum and Dare Olaitan. It stars Funke Akindele, Bisola Aiyeola, Jidekene Achufusi, Gregory Ojefua, Broda Shaggi, Adedimeji Lateef, Timini Egbuson, Efa Iwara and Uzor Arukwe. It was released theatrically on 16 July 2021.
My Village People is a 2021 Nigerian comedy supernatural thriller film written by Bovi Ugboma and directed by Niyi Akinmolayan. The film stars Bovi, Nkem Owoh, Amaechi Muonagor and Charles Inojie in the lead roles. The film was premiered at the Filmhouse Cinemas in Lagos on 6 June 2021 and the film had its theatrical release on 11 June 2021. The film is currently available on Netflix.

Superstar was jointly produced by Inkblot Productions and FilmOne Studios, marking the ninth collaboration between the two studios.

The movie's premiere was held on April 4, 2022, and the star-studded event was held at the IMAX Cinemas, Lekki, Lagos which featured lot of trends and talk-point. The film was released in Nigeria on 12 August 2022.
Big Love is a 2023 Nigerian romantic family drama written and directed by Biodun Stephen and marks the first collaboration between Biodun Stephen and Inkblot Productions. Released in cinemas nationwide on 28 June 2023 and starring Bimbo Ademoye, Timini Egbuson, Teniola Aladese, Jaiye Kuti, Shaffy Bello and others. The film was shot in Lagos State and depicts the modern-day Lagos life.
Mikolo is a 2023 Nigerian live action and computer-animated family fantasy film. It was directed by Niyi Akinmolayan, who also wrote the screenplay. The film stars child actors Pamilerin Ayodeji and Fiyinfoluwa Asenuga, along with Yvonne Jegede and Binta Ayo Mogaji, in the lead roles. The film is a rare example of Nollywood production of film for children. With a runtime of 1 hour 50 minutes, it premiered in Nigerian cinemas on August 18, 2023, and was released on Amazon Prime in multiple markets around the world in December 2023.
