Ranjana Deshmukh was an Indian actress known for her work in several popular Marathi films productions in 1970s & '80s. She has won Filmfare Marathi for Best Actress twice, first for her film Sushila (1979) and then for her film Savitri (1983).

Debaki Bose (1898–1971), also known as Debaki Kumar Bose, was an Indian director, writer, and actor who is recognized for his contribution in Hindi as well as Bengali cinema. He was born on 25 November 1898 in Akalposh,, Burdwan, Bengal Presidency, British India. He died on 17 November 1971 in Calcutta, West Bengal, India. He is known for his innovative use of sound and music in Indian Cinema. He worked first under the banner of British Dominion Films of Dhiren Ganguly and later with Pramathesh Barua's Barua Pictures and finally he joined New Theatres banner in 1932. He started his own production company, Debaki Productions, in 1945.

Archana Joglekar is an Indian actress and classical dancer. She has acted in Marathi, Odia and Hindi films and television serials. Some of her noted films are Sansar (Hindi), Eka Peksha Ek (Marathi) and Anapekshit (Marathi). She is a Kathak dancer and choreographer. She was trained in Kathak by her mother, Asha Joglekar, a Kathak dancer and instructor. In 1963, her mother founded a dance school in Mumbai called Archana Nrityalaya. In 1999, Joglekar opened a branch of this dance school in New Jersey, US.

Prasad Prabhakar Oak is an actor. He has received several awards including two Filmfare Awards Marathi and a National Film Award.

Prabhakar Pendharkar (1933–2010) was a Marathi writer. He was the son of film personality and director Bhalji Pendharkar. He worked under his father in the film sector and later in V. Shantaram's studio, Rajkamal. Pendharkar started his writing career with the magazine Deepavali. He also published various novels like Arey Sansar Sansar, Rarang Dhang and Chakrivadal. His long story Pratiksha received an award.

Usha Naik is an Indian actress who works in Marathi films. She started her career as a background dancer in films.

Vasant Joglekar (1914–1993) was a film director and producer. He directed several Marathi and Hindi movies, including Aanchal and Aaj Aur Kal.

<i>Avaghachi Sansar</i> Indian Marathi-language television series

Avaghachi Sansar is an Indian Marathi-language television series which aired on Zee Marathi. It is Zee Marathi's first longest running soap opera. Due to its popularity, the show reran on Zee Yuva from 24 August 2020.
