Soyarabai Bhosale was second wife of Shivaji, the founder of Maratha empire in western India. She was mother of Shivaji's second son, Rajaram. She was the younger sister of Maratha army chief Hambirrao Mohite.

Formerly known as Murumbdev, the fort was the first capital of the Maratha Empire under the rule of Chhatrapati Shivaji for almost 26 years, after which the capital was moved to the Raigad Fort. Treasures discovered from an adjacent fort called Torna were used to completely build and fortify the Rajgad Fort.

The film was released theatrically on 22 April 2022.

Sarsenapati Hambirrao is an Indian Marathi-language historical war film written and directed by Pravin Tarde and produced by Sandeep Mohite Patil, Saujanya Nikam and Darmendra Bora under banner of Urvita Productions. The film stars Pravin Tarde, Gashmeer Mahajani, Mohan Joshi in lead roles. The film is based on life of Military Commander of Maratha Empire Hambirrao Mohite. The film released worldwide on 27 May 2022.

<i>Har Har Mahadev</i> 2022 Marathi-language historical drama film

Har Har Mahadev is a 2022 Indian Marathi-language epic historical action drama film written and directed by Abhijeet Deshpande and produced by Zee Studios along with Sunil Phadtare under the banner of Shree Ganesh Marketing And Films. It stars Subodh Bhave as Shivaji I and Sharad Kelkar as Baji Prabhu Deshpande in lead while Amruta Khanvilkar, Nishigandha Wad, Sayali Sanjeev, Hardeek Joshi, Milind Shinde, Kishore Kadam, Nitish Chavan and Ashok Shinde plays important supporting roles. The film is about the inspiring story of Baji Prabhu Deshpande, a general of Shivaji I who, along with his army of 300 soldiers, fought against 12,000 Bijapuri soldiers. The film was released theatrically on 25 October 2022 and digitally in Hindi on 8 December 2022 on ZEE5.

<i>Vedat Marathe Veer Daudle Saat</i> Indian film

Vedat Marathe Veer Daudle Saat is an unreleased Indian Marathi-language period drama film directed by Mahesh Manjrekar and produced by Vaseem Qureshi under the banner of Qureshi Productions. The film stars Pravin Tarde, Hardeek Joshi, Vishal Nikam, Jai Dudhane, Utkarsha Shinde and Virat Madke as the seven great Maratha warriors who playing important role to achieve the dream of Swaraj, while Akshay Kumar as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The film was initially supposed to be released on Diwali but it was changed to avoid clashing with Tiger 3.
