Satyadev Kancharana (born 4 July 1989) professionally known as Satyadev is an Indian actor who primarily works in Telugu films. He made his acting debut with a supporting role in Mr. Perfect (2011) and later appeared in Jyothi Lakshmi (2015), Kshanam and Mana Oori Ramayanam both (2016).
Satyadev went onto establish himself with successful films including Bluff Master (2018), Brochevarevarura , iSmart Shankar both (2019), Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya (2020) and Skylab (2021). [3] He made his Hindi film debut with Ram Setu (2022). For his performance in Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya, he received SIIMA Award for Best Actor – Telugu nomination. [4]
Satyadev hails from Visakhapatnam. He attended SFS School and Nalanda Talent School in Visakhapatnam. He later graduated in Computer Science Engineering from MVGR College of Engineering, Vijayanagaram. [5] He worked as Virtual Design Architect for IBM and VMware till 2016, post which he quit to focus solely on his film career. [6]
Satyadev is married to Deepika. [7] The couple has a son named Savarnik, born in 2020. [2]
Satyadev started his career with short films. His first appearance in a feature film was Mr. Perfect (2011). He then continued to do minor roles in films like Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu and Mukunda . Satydev's first film in a noticeable role was Maine Pyar Kiya. [8] Although the film received limited response, a critic from the Deccan Chronicle wrote that "Another promising debutant is Satya Dev, who had to perform two characters — one young and the other, in the 40s. The variations in both characters are brought out superbly by Dev". [9]
Satyadev was selected from over 500 artistes who auditioned for the lead role in Jyothi Lakshmi . [10] [11] [12] The film, although a moderate box office success, provided him a much needed recognition in the film industry and after that he got an opportunity to work with Prakash Raj in Mana Oori Ramayanam . He also acted in The Ghazi Attack . [8] He was featured in the music video "Daare Leda" alongside Roopa Kodavayur. [13] It is performed by Roshan Sebastian, composed by Vijay Bulganin, written by KK and produced by Nani. [14] [15]

Jyothi Lakshmi is a 2015 Indian Telugu-language drama film written and directed by Puri Jagannadh starring and presented by Charmy Kaur in the title role. It was her production debut. It was produced by Swethalana, Varun, Teja, C. V. Rao and C. Kalyan under the banners Sri Subha Swetha films and C. K. Entertainments. Sunil Kashyap composed the film's music and P.G. Vinda was the film's cinematographer. Production began on 25 February 2015 and principal photography began on 8 March 2015. The story is based on the novel Mrs Parankusam by Malladi Venkata Krishna Murthy. The story is loosely based on the Hindi film Sadak, directed by Mahesh Bhatt.
Kshanam (transl. Moment) is a 2016 Indian Telugu-language mystery thriller film directed by Ravikanth Perepu. The film features Adivi Sesh and Adah Sharma in lead roles while Anasuya Bharadwaj, Vennela Kishore, Satyam Rajesh, Satyadev, and Ravi Varma in supporting roles with the music is by Sricharan Pakala and cinematography by Shaneil Deo. In the film, Rishi arrives in India where he begins to search for a missing child of his ex-girlfriend Shwetha.

The plot follows fictitious incidents in a Telangana village preceding the disintegration of the American space station Skylab in 1979. The film traces the fear looming among the villagers in a comical manner in light of these developments.
