AGS Entertainment is an Indian film production, distribution company, and multiplex chain in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. It was established in 2006 by Kalpathi brothers: S. Aghoram, S. Ganesh, and S. Suresh. AGS has four multiplex movie theaters across Chennai.
AGS Entertainment ventured into film production in 2006 with Susi Ganesan's Thiruttu Payale (2006), [1] which was followed by Santosh Subramaniam (2008), both emerging commercial successes. [2] [3] Their subsequent productions included the masala flick Maasilamani (2009), Chimbudevan's Western comedy Irumbukkottai Murattu Singam (2010), the period piece Madrasapattinam , Bale Pandiya (2010), Myshkin's crime thriller Yuddham Sei (2011), Bala's comedy entertainer Avan Ivan (2011), Prabhu Deva directed romance film Engeyum Kadhal (2011), Vellore Maavattam (2011) starring Nandha, the K. V. Anand-Suriya project Maattrraan (2012) and Atlee directed sports action film Bigil (2019), while the distribution of films includes Kandhakottai , Inidhu Inidhu , Mynaa and Payanam .
In 2013, AGS Entertainment started their first movie theatre in Villivakkam, Chennai. Subsequently, in the following year, they launched AGS OMR, and in 2016, another theater in T Nagar. [3] and in 2018, another theatre in Maduravoyal.

A spiritual successor Thiruttu Payale 2 was released in 2017.
Jeevan is a former Indian actor in the Tamil film industry. He first appeared in the film University (2002). However, this was followed by greater success Kaakha Kaakha (2003). Thiruttu Payale 2 is a 2017 Indian Tamil-language crime thriller film directed and written by Susi Ganeshan. A spiritual successor to his earlier Thiruttu Payale (2006), the film features Bobby Simha, Prasanna and Amala Paul in the lead roles. The film features music composed by Vidyasagar, while Raja Mohammad was the editor. Produced by AGS Entertainment, the venture began production in October 2016 and was released on 30 November 2017.
Bigil (transl. Whistle) is a 2019 Indian Tamil-language sports action drama film directed by Atlee and produced by AGS Entertainment. The film stars Vijay in dual lead roles, alongside an ensemble cast of Nayanthara, Jackie Shroff, Vivek, Kathir, Daniel Balaji, Anandaraj, Yogi Babu, I. M. Vijayan, Arjan Bajwa, Indhuja Ravichandran, Reba Monica John and Amritha Aiyer. It is the third and final collaboration of Vijay with Atlee after Theri (2016) and Mersal (2017). The film follows Michael Rayappan a.k.a "Bigil", a former footballer-turned-gangster, who ends up as coach of a women's football team.
"Singappenney" (transl. Lioness) is a 2019 Indian Tamil language song composed and sung by A. R. Rahman, from the film Bigil. The song's lyrics were written by Vivek and featured additional vocals by Shashaa Tirupati. The song has a motivational theme for women, hailed as a women's anthem. The song was released as a first single track of the film on 23 July 2019. The song features Vijay including the 11 women football players. Rahman and Atlee Kumar has a special entrance in the film through this song.

"Verithanam" (transl. Frenzy) is an Indian Tamil-language song from the 2019 sports action film Bigil directed by Atlee. Composed by A. R. Rahman, the song featured lyrics written by Vivek and sung by actor Vijay, who also played the protagonist in the film. It is the first song Vijay has recorded for Rahman. The song was released by Sony Music India on 1 September 2019, and its video version was unveiled on 1 November.
Vanakkam Chennai is the soundtrack album to the 2013 film of the same name directed by Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi and starred Shiva and Priya Anand. The film's musical score is composed by Anirudh Ravichander in his third Tamil film after 3 (2012) and Ethir Neechal, and featured seven songs written by Na. Muthukumar, Madhan Karky, Vignesh Shivan, Hiphop Tamizha and Arjun that featured prominent singers. The soundtrack was released on Sony Music India on 27 July 2013.
