The following table lists known estimated box office ticket sales for various high-grossing films that have sold at least 100 million tickets worldwide.
Note that some of the data are incomplete due to a lack of available admissions data from a number of box office territories. Therefore, it is not an exhaustive list of all the highest-grossing films by ticket sales, so no rankings are given.

The year 1975 in film involved some significant events. 20th Century-Fox will celebrate their 40th anniversary.
Spider-Man has appeared in film since his first adaptation in 1977, a television film broadcast on CBS. The film rights to Spider-Man belonged to Marvel Entertainment until 1999, when Sony Pictures bought them for $7 million. He has been Marvel's most successful character in the American film industry ever since.
Angélique, Marquise des Anges is a 1964 historical romance film directed by Bernard Borderie and starring Michèle Mercier, Robert Hossein and Jean Rochefort. It is based on the 1956 novel of the same name by Anne and Serge Golon. It was made as a co-production between France, Italy and West Germany
The Treasure of the Silver Lake is a 1962 Western film directed by Harald Reinl, loosely based on German author Karl May's 1891 novel of the same name. It was the first in a highly-successful series of films based on May's works by the West German studios Rialto and Constantin Film, starring American actor Lex Barker as the frontiersman Old Shatterhand and French actor Pierre Brice as the Apache warrior Winnetou.
Currently, in its sixth reissue in Japan, playing 20 theatres for a five week engagement, Gone With the Wind has grossed $1,547,277 and has played to 501,377 customers.
[In the past two years, including three copies (8.75mm, 16mm and 35mm), the dozen films with the most audiences were: "Wudang", which was released from July 1983 to June 1984, with more than 544 million viewers; "Wu lin zhi", from August 1983 to June 1984, 425.79 million viewers; the third is the Shanghai Film Studio comedy "Fei lai de nü xu". This is beyond my expectations, no matter critics or leading comrades, almost no one thinks this is a good or relatively good film (of course there is no problem with the content), I don't seem to have seen it. What reviews mention this film, but from January 1983 to June 1984, the audience was 199.5 million; the audience for the other films: "Blue Shield Safe", 170 million; "A Policeman with a Special Identity", 130 million; "At Middle Age", 120 million; "She an", December 1983 to June this year, 120 million; "Dong Fangjian", 100 million people; "Our Niu Baisui", 110 million; "Little Deyuelou", 88 million; and two films co-produced with Hong Kong, "Shao lin di zi", 490 million; "Young Heroes", from January to June 1984, 260 million. I calculated, except for the two co-production films, the status of the top 10 films is probably like this: two martial arts films, accounting for 969.83 million; four thrilling films, or underground struggles or detective films, 630 million; comedy films, 390 million; and "At Middle Age", 120 million, plus two co-productions, 12 films with an audience of about 3 billion.]
