Koffee with Karan [1] is an Indian talk show on Disney+ Hotstar (previously broadcast on Star World India). Debuting on 19 November 2004, the show is hosted by film producer, director, and television personality Karan Johar and is produced by Dharmatic, the digital content division of his production company, Dharma Productions. [lower-alpha 1] [3] The show is distributed by Disney Star [lower-alpha 2] and its first six seasons aired on Star World (2004–2019) with the second season being simulcasted on Star One (2007). In 2022, Koffee with Karan moved over to Disney+ Hotstar as a streaming exclusive under the Hotstar Specials label, with the seventh season airing on the streaming platform. [4]

In 2022, Koffee with Karan moved to Disney+ Hotstar as a streaming exclusive under the service's content label and hub, Hotstar Specials; thereafter the succeeding seasons have aired on the platform. Also that year, Johar's Dharmatic Entertainment replaced Banijay's SOL India as the show's production company. It is the second longest-running talk show after Phool Khile Hain Gulshan Gulshan on Indian Hindi-language television, as well as one of the most-watched Indian English-language television shows. In 2007, the show won an Indian Television Academy Award for Best Talk Show and Johar won Best Talk Show Anchor.

Kurbaan (transl.Sacrificed) is a 2009 Indian Hindi-language crime thriller film directed by Rensil D'Silva and produced by Karan Johar under Dharma Productions. It is based on a story by Johar who co-wrote the screenplay with D'Silva. Starring Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor, the story revolves around Avantika Ahuja (Kapoor), a psychology professor in New York who returns to Delhi, India to caretake her ailing father and develops a relationship with Ehsaan (Khan). Avantika and Ehsaan fall in love, get married, and leave for the United States, where she discovers that Ehsaan and his family are linked to Islamic terrorist groups after witnessing the house arrest, domestic abuse and murder of now family member Salma. The film's backdrop on global terrorism forms the crux.

The film stars Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor, with Ratna Pathak Shah, Boman Irani and Ram Kapoor in supporting roles. Brahmāstra: Part One – Shiva is a 2022 Indian Hindi-language fantasy action-adventure film written and directed by Ayan Mukerji, dialogues written by Hussain Dalal and produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Hiroo Yash Johar, Namit Malhotra and Mukerji – under Dharma Productions, Starlight Pictures and Prime Focus in association with Star Studios, along with Ranbir Kapoor and Marijke DeSouza. The film serves as the first installment of a planned trilogy, which is itself planned to be part of a cinematic universe titled Āstraverse, and stars an ensemble cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy and Akkineni Nagarjuna while Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone appear in cameo roles. The film's songs are composed by Pritam, with soundtrack lyrics written by Amitabh Bhattacharya. Drawing inspiration from tales in Hindu mythology, the story follows Shiva, an orphan musician with pyrokinetic powers who discovers that he is an astra, a weapon of enormous energy. He attempts to prevent the strongest of the astras, the Brahmāstra, from falling into the hands of dark forces that share a history with him.
