The Green Bay Packers are a professional American football team based in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The Packers have competed in the National Football League (NFL) since 1921, two years after their original founding by Curly Lambeau and George Whitney Calhoun. They are members of the North Division of the National Football Conference (NFC) and play their home games at Lambeau Field in central Wisconsin. Over 1,800 people have played in at least one regular season or postseason game for the Packers since 1921. The team's all-time roster does not include players who only played in games during the 1919 or 1920 seasons. Players who only participated in preseason games or who only were signed to the practice squad are also excluded. The Packers have had 33 players inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame and have inducted 137 players into their own team hall of fame.
