Bol is a 2011 Pakistani Urdu language social drama film written, directed and produced by Shoaib Mansoor. The film stars Humaima Malik, Atif Aslam, Mahira Khan, Iman Ali, Shafqat Cheema, Amr Kashmiri, Manzar Sehbai, and Zaib Rehman in the lead roles. The film marks the debut of singer Atif Aslam and Mahira Khan. It concerns a religious Muslim family facing financial difficulties caused by too many children and changing times, with a major plot involving the father's desire to have a son and his rejection of his existing intersex child. Bol was a critical and commercial success and became one of the highest-grossing Pakistani films of all time.

In 2022, Mazhar Majeed became the manager for two time World Boxing Champion, Amir Iqbal Khan. He additionally organized the fight between Amir Khan and Kell Brook on February 18, 2022. Earlier, he came under police investigation in 2010 following reports of cricket 'match fixing' after a News of the World sting operation. On Saturday 28 August 2010, he was arrested by Scotland Yard for allegedly fixing a Test match between England and Pakistan in Lord's. On 3 November 2011, Majeed was given a prison sentence of 32 months on convictions of "conspiracy to make corrupt payments" and "conspiracy to allow others to cheat at gambling," to run concurrently.

Samina Ahmad is a Pakistani film and television actress, stage performer, producer and director. She is one of the most popular actress of her time and was one of the most successful actress of 1970s, 1980s and 1990s. She is a veteran television actress with over 55 years of work experience in the Urdu entertainment industry. Ahmad performed for many of PTV's major successful series, including Waris (1979), Aahat (1991) and Family Front (1997). One of her most recent roles includes Geo TV's widely-popular four-part comedy series Kis Ki Aayegi Baraat (2009–2012), and Hum TV's acclaimed comedy drama series Suno Chanda (2018) and its sequel Suno Chanda 2 (2019). For her contributions towards the television industry, she was honoured by the Government of Pakistan with the Pride of Performance in 2011.

Noor Mohammed Charlie, popularly known as Charlie, was an Indian/ Pakistani actor born in 1911 in Ranavav village, Porbandar, Saurashtra, India. Best known for his comedy roles, he was the first 'star' comedian and has been referred to as India's first comedy king. He acted with several top actresses of those days as a comic hero. Being a great fan of Charlie Chaplin, he took the name "Charlie" as his screen name following the release of his popular film The Indian Charlie (1933). He had a successful career in pre-partition India from 1925–1946. His shift to Pakistan following partition saw his career going down with less than 12 films. He shifted to the US to live with his son and returned later to Pakistan where he died in 1983.

<i>Stree</i> (2018 film) 2018 film by Amar Kaushik

Stree is a 2018 Indian Hindi-language comedy horror film directed by debutant Amar Kaushik in his directorial debut and produced by Dinesh Vijan and Raj & D.K. It stars Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao alongside Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana and Abhishek Banerjee. The plot is based on the urban legend Nale Ba of Karnataka modified as O Stree Kal Aana in the film.

Soch is a pop and sufi rock band from Lahore, Pakistan. It consists of two members – Adnan Dhool (vocals) and Rabi Ahmad (guitars). The band was formed by the lead vocalist Adnan Dhool in 2010. In 2011, the band released their first single "Bandeya".

Osama Tahir is a Pakistani television actor, producer and film actor. He worked and starred in several critically acclaimed television serials such as Dar Si Jaati Hai Sila, Belapur Ki Dayan and Hania, the first one of which earned him a nomination of Lux Style Award for Best Emerging Talent. Later he appeared in dramas such as Mushk, Neeli Zinda Hai and Baddua.
