This is a list of Pakistani films released in 2017. Punjab Nahi Jaungi was the highest grossing Pakistani film released on Eid-ul-Azha in 2017. However, it was replaced by Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2 which was released on Eid-ul-Azha 2018.

The film stars Adeel Hussain, Mahira Khan, Sheheryar Munawar and Sonya Jehan, along with veterans Bushra Ansari, Arshad Mahmud, Jamal Shah and Munawar Siddiqui were a part of the cast. It is produced in Urdu.

Nadeem Baig is Pakistani film and television director, producer and writer from Karachi. Baig won the Lux Style Award For Best Director for Punjab Nahi Jaungi.

<i>Actor in Law</i> 2016 film by Nabeel Qureshi

Actor in Law is a 2016 Pakistani socio-comedy film directed by Nabeel Qureshi, co-written and produced by Fizza Ali Meerza along with Mehdi Ali. The film was released on Eid-ul-Adha 2016 by Urdu 1 Pictures. The film stars Fahad Mustafa and Mehwish Hayat in lead roles. The cast also includes veteran Indian actor Om Puri in his first Pakistani film. On 19 April 2017, the movie received the Best Film award at the 16th Lux Style Awards.

Balu Mahi is a 2017 Pakistani romantic comedy directed by Haissam Hussain, produced by Sadia Jabbar and written by Saad Azhar. A-Plus Films handled distribution of the film in Pakistan, and Grand Showbiz Media handled it internationally.

<i>Chupan Chupai</i> 2017 Pakistani film

Chupan Chupai is a 2017 Pakistani comedy thriller film, directed by Mohsin Ali. The film stars Ahsan Khan, Neelam Muneer and Ali Rizvi in the lead cast. It released on 29 December 2017 under the banner of Huzu Productions, and was distributed by Hum Films. The film received generally positive reviews from critics and audience, however, the film only grossed 7.00 crore against its 4.00 crore budget.

<i>Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2</i> 2018 Pakistani Urdu-language flim

Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2, sometimes abbreviated as JPNA 2, is a 2018 Pakistani Urdu-language romantic comedy film, directed by Nadeem Baig and written by Vasay Chaudhry. It is a joint venture of Salman Iqbal Films, Humayun Saeed and Shahzad Nasib's Six Sigma Plus, and Jerjees Seja's ARY Films. It is sequel to the 2015 film Jawani Phir Nahi Ani, and the second installment in Jawani Phir Nahi Ani film series. The cast includes Humayun Saeed, Ahmed Ali Butt, Vasay Chaudhry, Uzma Khan and Sarwat Gillani all of whom reprise their roles from previous film, along with Fahad Mustafa, Kubra Khan, and Mawra Hocane who join the franchise.

<i>Parwaaz Hai Junoon</i> 2017 film by Haseeb Hassan

Parwaaz Hai Junoon is a 2018 Pakistani aerial combat-war romantic film, directed by Haseeb Hassan, produced by Momina Duraid and written by Farhat Ishtiaq. The film features an ensemble cast of Hamza Ali Abbasi, Ahad Raza Mir, Hania Amir, Kubra Khan, Alamdar Khan, Marina Khan, Shamoon Abbasi, Adnan Jaffar, Shaz Khan, Shafaat Ali, and Mustafa Changazi in pivotal roles. Earlier, Osman Khalid Butt was also a part of the film but had to withdraw as the film's shoot schedule clashed with his promotions for Balu Mahi. The film is a tribute to Pakistan Air Force.

<i>Rangreza</i> 2017 film

Rangreza is a 2017 Pakistani musical romantic drama film directed by Amir Mohiuddin, and written by Akhtar Qayyum under the production banner of Vision Art Films. The film features Gohar Rasheed, Bilal Ashraf, Urwa Hocane and Ghana Ali in the main cast. It is also produced by Yasir Mohiuddin and Usman Malkani under the MH Films and Malkani Films respectively.

<i>Punjab Nahi Jaungi</i> 2017 Pakistani film

Punjab Nahi Jaungi, is a 2017 Pakistani romantic comedy film directed by Nadeem Baig and written by Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar. It stars Humayun Saeed and Mehwish Hayat alongside Sohail Ahmed, Saba Hameed and Urwa Hocane in pivotal roles. The story is about a love triangle of the lead characters, and also exhibits the Punjabi culture of Pakistan. A spin-off, titled London Nahi Jaunga, released to mixed reviews in 2022.

Hina Rizvi is a Pakistani actress. She is known for her roles in dramas Tishnagi Dil Ki, Umeed, Hari Hari Churiyaan, Neeli Zinda Hai and Quddusi Sahab Ki Bewah.

It is a spin-off of the 2017 film Punjab Nahi Jaungi. It stars Huamayun Saeed and Mehwish Hayat alongside Sohail Ahmed, Kubra Khan, Asif Raza Mir and Saba Faisal in supporting roles.
