João de Barros, nicknamed the "Portuguese Livy", is one of the first great Portuguese historians, most famous for his Décadas da Ásia, a history of the Portuguese in India, Asia, and southeast Africa.
The Tupinambá are one of the various Tupi ethnic groups that inhabited present-day Brazil since before the conquest of the region by Portuguese colonial settlers. In the first years of contact with the Portuguese, the Tupinambás lived in the whole East coast of Brazil, and the name was also applied to other Tupi-speaking groups such as the Tupiniquim, Potiguara, Tupinambá, Temiminó, Caeté, Tabajara, Tamoio, and Tupinaé, among others.
Terras de Bouro is a municipality in the district of Braga in Portugal. The population in 2011 was 7,253, in an area of 277.46 km². It is bordered to the north by Ponte da Barca and Spain, to the east by Montalegre, to the south by Vieira do Minho, to the southwest by Amares, and to the west by Vila Verde.

Quarteto 1111 was a Portuguese progressive rock and psychedelic rock band founded in Estoril in 1967. Originally it was formed by Miguel Artur da Silveira (drums), José Cid, António Moniz Pereira (guitar) and Jorge Moniz Pereira (bass). Later members included Tozé Brito, Mike Sergeant and Mário Rui Terra. It was one of the most influential rock bands in the country.

Meus Prêmios Nick, often abbreviated as MPN, is the Brazilian version of the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards (KCA). The event is one of the largest award shows for children's television in the country. The Brazilian version is one of the eleven countries in the world that holds a localised version of the Kids' Choice Awards. The first bout of the Meus Prêmios Nick was held in 2000, hosted by Márcio Garcia.

Written by Duca Rachid and Thelma Guedes, with the collaboration of Dora Castellar, Aimar Labaki, Carolina Ziskind and Cristina Biscay; with direction of Pedro Peregrino, Bruno Safadi, Alexandre Macedo and Lúcio Tavares, general direction of André Câmara and artistic direction of Gustavo Fernandez.
Luiz Carlos Leão Duarte Júnior, better known by his stage name Champignon and also referred to affectionately as Champ or Champs by fans, was a Brazilian singer-songwriter, lyricist, bassist, beatboxer, record label owner and drummer famous for his work with bands Charlie Brown Jr., Revolucionnários, Nove Mil Anjos and A Banca. Music critic Hagamenon Brito considered him one of the three greatest Brazilian pop rock bassists of all time alongside Paulo Roberto Diniz "PJ" Júnior of Jota Quest and Alexandre Dengue of Nação Zumbi, and Emir Ruivo of webzine El Hombre compared him to Red Hot Chili Peppers' Flea. Shortly after his death in 2013, caused by a self-inflicted gunshot wound following increasing bouts of anxiety and depression, he was featured in entertainment website Punk Brega's list of the Top 10 Greatest Brazilian Rock Bassists of All Time, in 10th place.
