Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (English: You Live Only Once) [1] is a 2011 Indian coming-of-age film directed by Zoya Akhtar, who also co-wrote the film along with Reema Kagti. At the 57th ceremony of the Filmfare Awards, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara won awards in seven categories, including Best Film, Best Director (Zoya Akhtar), and Best Supporting Actor (Farhan Akhtar). The film garnered eleven nominations at the 18th Screen Awards ceremony, and received three awards, including Best Film. At the 13th Zee Cine Awards, it received four awards, including Best Supporting Actor. In the 13th iteration of the International Indian Film Academy Awards, the film was nominated for fourteen awards, going on to win nine, including Best Film, Best Director, and Best Supporting Actor. The film won two honours—Best Choreography and a Best Audiography prize for Baylon Fonseca—at the 59th ceremony of India's National Film Awards.

Farhan Akhtar is an Indian actor, director, screenwriter, dialogue writer, playback singer, lyricist, producer and television host who works in Hindi films.
Zoya Akhtar is an Indian film director and screenwriter who works in Hindi cinema. After completing a diploma in filmmaking from NYU, she assisted directors such as Mira Nair, Tony Gerber and Dev Benegal, before becoming a writer and director herself. Akhtar is the recipient of several accolades, including five Filmfare Awards. Zoya, along with Reema Kagti founded Tiger Baby Films, a film and web studio, in October 2015.

The 2012 IIFA Awards, officially the 13th International Indian Film Academy Awards ceremony, presented by the International Indian Film Academy honouring the films of 2011 took place between 7–9 June 2012. The official ceremony took place on 9 June 2012, at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Singapore for the second time after 2004. The ceremony was televised in India and internationally on Star Plus.
