List of art rock bands

This is a list of art rock bands. Art rock is a genre of rock music created in the 1960s. Art pop grew concurrently and often intertwined with art rock during the 1960s. Art punk subsequently grew out of the punk and garage rock scenes in the 1970s, with some inspiration from and stylistic similarities to art rock and art pop.
